I am so jealous of you. My family and friends would never be that supportive so at almost 34 I'm still here living a life I feel like I'm just acting a role every single day so depressed. I am so happy for you though it's always nice to see people who went thru it and came out awesome! Watching channels like this gives me a chance to talk openly to people who actually understand the concept it's literally therapeutic

I am so sorry that you don't have access to supportive friends and family. I can't imagine what that's like, but I know it must be very, very difficult to say the least. I hope that you are able to find chosen family and gain the support and community that you absolutely deserve. You deserve to be yourself without fear of rejection. Sending you love and support ❤️

Lowkey jealous you started transitioning as a teen. I didn't start realising I could be MTF until recently (im 23). I've been repressing thoughts about it for the past couple of years, but there were some signs from before. I'm also very happy for you that you had so much support, everyone deserves that x

I can definitely relate to that feeling of jealousy. I feel very grateful to have been able to start transitioning as early as I did, but I still did go through significant voice change from testosterone as well as development of the Adam's apple etc. So I look at women who started transitioning without ever having to go through any testosterone based puberty, and I feel extreme envy. No matter what, it's difficult, and I'm so sorry you had to repress your truth and your feelings for so long. I'm so happy, though, that you're able to be yourself now and be open and free with those thoughts and feelings. Wishing you all the best and thanking you for your lovely words 💛

Again, I've been listening to your broadcast and enjoyed hearing your response to how tall you are, which you answered, hesitated a moment then added "one half inch". Do you think that being shorter allowed you to have the transition a bit easier? I'd encourage you to keep videoing as your presentation seems very mature.

That was me that asked about losing hair. Yeah, I was losing a lot of hair on my head. I talked to some of the women at work, they said that if they took progresterone , or when they were pregnant (I think the hormone is essentially a female pregnancy hormone), they lost hair on their heads too. It could be due to a hormonal change in the body. I never stayed on it long enough to find out if I was going to go bald.... Interestingly enough, I felt fantastic on it. I slept well, and my digestion improved significantly. I've also met patients who had a type of pulmonary distress , or Psoriasis due to progesterone.

Interesting! I know it can affect people in a variety of ways. I really like progesterone. I've found it's improved my mood and overall sense of self with how it's affected my body shape.

Glad to see another video up! Did you need to change your voice or did you start blocking early enough? I find that the voice is the hardest part to change by far and it's hard to know where to start

Thanks for watching! I did need to change my voice. It used to be much lower and more masculine. I actually made a whole video about voice!

Congratulations :) I'm about nine months into HRT, so I need to do some research about how long the wait for that is (I live in Montréal which does make things a LOT easier for SRS). Anyway, I'll catch up on your videos when I get the chance, I always love your videos and it's nice to follow another trans lesbian :)

The fact that your chromosomes would still be XY, will that have an impact on your transitioning or hormones control dysphoria? I am talking about the body and not the mind / feelings. What are the chances of success for a 40 year old?

I think sexuality is a spectrum and most ppl fall somewhere in the middle. I’ve noticed a lot of trans women became bisexual or attracted to women when they previously identified as gay men, and I think this happens because they can finally be themselves as women and no longer require the attraction of men to feel feminine.

Are you sure you can stop taking the T suppressor? Don't they just invert them? Do they stop producing testosterone?

After surgery, I stopped taking testosterone suppressants, as recommended by my doctor, and all is well. I do not produce testosterone. Some trans women choose to get a prescription for a very small dose of testosterone as to match what is common in cis women

@@boonewilliams5338 Ah, ok. I would just worry that you had stopped taking the suppressants, and the testosterone was still being produced, effecting your development, and in a few years time you would be unhappy with the result. But perhaps I am just being paranoid.

@@thescarydoor8756 my understanding is that after the testes are removed, the body has no way to naturally produce testosterone, but I'm no expert! I get and appreciate your concern though! I'm anxious about things like that too :)

@@thescarydoor8756 every time I see my endocrinologist, I get my hormone levels checked, but there is 0 testosterone in my system. It's not something I worry about at all to be honest, but I really appreciate your caring :)
