Noem doesn't know how to care for the animals she owns. The attack on the chickens was due to Noem not securing the dog properly. Now, to the goat. Noem's astonishment that an adult male goat is "smelly" & "aggressive" is truly a "duh" moment. She knows nothing about the animal, and apparently did not secure it properly either. They had to die because of her incompetence at animal husbandry.

She is a monster. She is not talking about farm life, and the necessities thereof. She is talking about a narcissistic response to other beings. When a living being displeases her, she drags it to the gravel pit, and shoots it in the head. How do three horses suddenly need to be killed at the same time? They were 25 years old, so I guess they needed to die, because they were not young enough for her. Monster. She is a monster.

And when she was done killing Cricket, she dragged a goat she hated out to that same gravel pit and killed it too! She's a psychopath!

Boy howdy, tell half the story much IE. She had trained multiple dogs. This one had severe aggression issues, and tried to attack her as well, when she tried to intervene in said chicken onslaught. Tell the whole story. This is terrible. Tell me you've never been on a farm, or been around working dogs, with out telling me that.

City folks clearly don't understand, and that's okay, but in the country and with farm/ranch life it is not uncommon for a dog to be humanely put down by its owner if it's agressive and violemt. Most ranchers don't run to town for every need they have. Living so far away from towns means they learn how to take care of most things on their own from basic vet care for livestock to basic health care for themselves to mechanical issues, etc. Ranchers take having to put an animal down very seriously and do everything possible to make it humane and quick. Sometimes it's an aggressive dog, sometimes it's a dying calf, sometimes it's an old horse that's suffering....ranching is a way of life that most people couldn't begin to understand.
