Did Yuji Itadori Get TOO Strong TOO Fast?! | Jujutsu Kaisen 

Yup. Yuji is any other story would be blowing minds but in his own he seems normal.

Yuuji has always been strong, Todo teaching him on the spot during the fight with Hanami is very telling. To me anyways, it showed how quickly he was able to adapt to what he was being taught even Gojo commented on that when he saw him again in his basement how well and quickly he learned to control his CE. Yuuji then pulled a Black Flash by the end of that arc making it an amazing feat with his crazy inhumane physical attributes. It then starts to fall off during Culling Games, Yuuji learned nothing new here. In Shibuya although he didn't learn any new sorcerery skills, he matured as a character which is enough but in Culling Games its like Gege took a step back and focused on Megumi Yuuta and Maki. It felt like a huge gap for Yuuji honestly. Although I loved Yuuji and Higuruma interaction, it was early and so little to build on Yuuji mc status. At least Shinjuku Gege gave everyone a chance to shine.

He definitely not an underdog.

To actually fight a special grade like hanami ,u need two first grade .Against Mahito he became the only sorcer who can actually touch a soul and he did it unconsciously.Even Sukuna who was In yuji body couldn't gain yuji soul abilities.

We didn't need A WHOLE ARC. Nobody wants filler. We just needed another yuji fight to show his progression before this sukuna jumping.

​@@Six-bw3ir Showing progression isn't "filler" and filler refers to non-canon anyways. There's definitely stuff that could have been done with kenjaku, in general with character interactions, and even an expansion on the 1 month time skip (which is arbitrary in its length)

@franksarria9693 I don't think the time limit is that arbitrary, at a certain point it's like why would they wait so long to fight and why would sukuna allow them so much time to prepare and possibly ambush him, regardless of whether he believes he could win or not. The fact that the fight was postponed and scheduled already has a mostly logical reason. The progression is being shown within the sukuna jumping which makes sense. For it to be hidden and eventually revealed just for the fact that it will be exiting and surprising for the audience. And honestly for me and most other this domain reveal has me hypes and I have no issues with it. The issues come when you start getting picky and judging every choice in a way that doesn't allow for any other than what you personally like to satisfy.

Yuji won't live the end of the manga to do any of those xd.

I do agree with that. Even if I'm fine with Yuji's growth, a lot more characters deserved more time.

Yeah, but there it was a big boost in a crucial moment and it made a lot of sense. Megumi couldnt hit the curse cuz it was too fast and he was desperate, so he tried with all his might and managed an incomplete domain wich allowed him to do it. Gojo was dying and the only thing that could save him was RCT, so he put all of his might into trying to use it and he managed to do it. Higuruma was just a beast of talent, he saw domain amplification once and learned it 10 minutes later, he is a special case. But Yuji just learns RCT and Blood manipulation off-camera bc Sukuna was in his body and he ate his brothers. He then hits one black flash in a not so crucial moment (at least not more crucial than every other moment in the fight) and gets the Shrine technique wich 5 minutes later he can precisely aim it at the soul barrier, and now he suddenly learns domain expansion bc Kusakabe made him learn how to make the external barrier work. It just feels unearned, everything he got came either thanks to Ui Ui for swapping his body with someone elses (and off-camera too), or it came out of nowhere with a weak excuse "oh well, he hit one black flash so now he has one of the strongests techniques in the series wich he will basically master in 5 minutes" or "well, he wasnt just Kenjaku's son, he was also Sukuna's nephew!" and now out of nowhere all that talent is coming to light with no previous build up.

This is a fair statement I agree with this.

I can respect that, but I don't know when he would learn either of those things. Between Shibuya and Shinjuku Yuji has two fights, neither of which he takes serious enough to damage to be forced to learn RCT or against opponents that would make him pull out or learn a simple domain.

Big facts I agree. Wish he would’ve unlocked those CT earlier. But nobody actually trained him until Yuji started training for real. Yuji was basically thrown into battle with little to no knowledge of CT’s and only the hand to hand experience and some luck with black flash. However, we can say that he has the Black Flash CT since he almost uses it at will.

Exactly. People comparing this to Gojo awakening rct makes no sense since RCT is actually just one thing among other Yuuji "unlocked" magically. In Gojo's case its a life or death situation and an epic scene,they make a big deal out of it. Yuuji just used a gta cheat code and got every powers perfectly mastered instantly. And i know he is special cuz kenjaku and blah blah blah but bro Gojo is aswell if not more. This manga had so much potential its actually sad seeing it end on sukuna plot armoring anyone BUT Yuuji so he can have a forced MC moment and yay we checked the basic shonnen ending case.Compare this to naruto beating pain,it just is inferior in comparison.

Exactly! in just one month Yuji learned basically everything there was to learn, even Higuruma wasnt that fast and he supposedly had the most amount of potential. and he got most of this off camera thanks to an asspull (Ui Ui knowing how to swap people's souls), and the rest was just earned in 10 minutes bc apparently THIS black flash made him awaken for some reason, unlike the previous 8 black flashes throughout the series, and it was such a strong awakening that he could suddenly 1v1 Sukuna (granted, it was the most heavily weakened Sukuna, but a Sukuna nonetheless).

@@thatguywithapencil I think Special Grade isn’t just a normal rank of mastery. They are anomalies, and I think their CT have almost infinite potential in some aspect. Gojo is Gojo, Yuta can copy infinite CT and has access to boundless CE when the ring is on, Yuki can create a black hole (can make infinite virtual mass). Even Geto and Yaga have CT that can create armies with no known limitation. If we include Hakari, he has access to infinite CE and RCT. Notice there’s a pattern of all these CT having aspects that are unquantifiable. We have the conquer-a-nation standard, but I like to think of special grade around the concept of infinity, which is beyond human comprehension. When you transcend human comprehension of power, then civilization (I.e. nations) become meaningless.

@@lemillion7929 No, he isn't. Maki got blitzed by a thrilled Sukuna who massively scales above his bore self, and Yuta fought a thrilled Sukuna as well that can push aside Yuji with ease. Those 2 black flashes of Sukuna's, weren't really a factor until he has hit his second one. His RCT output is simply the only thing that 's rapidly returning.

You got it right. He does not meet the criteria of conquering a nation by himself, or destroying it. Stats wise he surpassed Geto a while ago, he just don't got an army or black hole equivalent.

@@thatguywithapencil ok thanks for clearing that up I also do think it's likely his kit can be used in more than incarnated sorcer as we see him damage mahitos soul and the reason I personally believe as to why yuji isn't attacking sukunas soul is because it's a worse option than tearing sukunas and megumis soul apart as it wouldn't nerf sukuna as much as it's only sukuna losing HP essentially and isn't losing control of the body and sukuna can heal his soul so all that would be all for naught whereas what he is doing sukuna can't heal and needs sukuna a lot more than just damaging his soul just what I believe I gave out my reasoning I don't expect many if any to agree with it due to a lack of evidence but to me it makes sense

Yeah by the standard given in story he is not special grade technically. But he also has the power to beat Special Grades like Geto or Yuki xd. Remember when Gojo said the new generation won't be defined by Special Grade, that's what he meant. Too strong for Grade 1, but cannot be ranked Special Grade due to some bs.

The requirements for special grade is to be able to take down a country on your own. Technically Yuji's power is beyond some special grades like Geto but also he doesn't have any way of taking down a country alone so he is not special grade technically. Remember Gojo said Special Grade won't be able to define the new generation, that's what he meant.

Depends on how his DE works. At this point I have a hard time believing Maki is so much physically stronger or faster. Sukuna and Gojo are of course out of everyone league. Kenny is a lot closer and if Yuji does a little training with Shrine, what could really do. The only thing you would worry about with is his gravity and DE.
