Super bad ass Camaro! Your color blue that you made looks very close to Quasar Blue used on Vettes in the late 80's through late 90's. I owned a built to the gills 71 Nova painted that color. I think you just opened up a whole new way to make custom translucent paint. After I score a decent compressor and air gun, I'm definitely going to try it out. Your friend is a lucky guy getting such a cool car.
That turned out great, I'm into restoring the old ones as well, working on a set of sweet 16 and spoilers myself. But I'm not into filming and putting them up on you tube, my time dosent really allow it between my son, work, my dogs and other hobbies. But thanks for the vids and I really like you alternative custom paint. Idk how it would turn out, but have thaught about trying to make my own using clear and cool aid drink mix. 😁
You should do some zinc plating! Chroming then or polishing to a chrome like finish is ok but original hot wheels of coarse were spectra flame over zinc! In pure you know that though!
Great video. I like your alternative polishing method for getting a good shiny finish on the bare casting. A good alternative to a zinc plating system. Question: can the Pledge furniture polish be reused after dipping a windshield? Or do you toss it and use fresh stuff each time?
