Well, Since it is a holiday weekend, I figured I'd put out another video for your viewing pleasure. This is a part off of a core drilling machine. Turns out its a very expensive part to replace. Glad I was able to help the customer out. Hope you guys enjoy it. Simple little repair. Pretty straight forward fix.

Hey man, thanks for watching. I like the fabshield better than the NR211. the 211 is a little too brittle. I havent had cracking issues with the 21-B. I believe it has more elongation properties. more like what a 7018 has. I havent used the xlr8 but i hear thats a good one too.

Hi there, I am a great fan of your practical no-nonsense attitude to your repairs and also your work ethic, I have watched several of your videos, and enjoy the way you are honest in your appraisal of the problem and how you intend to fix it, even when it does not always go exactly to plan, but I have no idea what your name is, could you start each video with a "Hi this is ***** welcome to the channel" personally I find that knowing the name of the person you are watching adds to the experience, I also watch the videos the Kurtis posts from Australia.

@@ICWeld Greetings Isaac, thanks for giving me your name, I live in the UK and I am retired, I run a Clay Pigeon Shoot in my spare time and dabble a little in DIY metalworking, mostly for repairs to our equipment. I like the way you work out problems and take the time to explain to your viewers what you are doing and why you think it needs to be done that particular way, I have picked up some valuable tips from you, unfortunately, I will never be as good as you at welding, though I have got past the stage where it looks as if I have thrown the weld at the metal from six feet away. Best Regards Dave.

Great idea to test fit before finish welding. I guess you have done this before. Also, i love that you use the basics of arc welding by utilizing air arc and multiple build up in layers. I have a miller 300 amp big blue diesel and a lot of people today scoff at the idea i dont have the newest welder available. My welder and my basic skills have brought back many pieces of equipment from the salvage yard. Old school is still a great place to start. Thank you for the great video's.
