I agree. Take the terms off the bride and focus on the process. "Difficult Appointment Results in Magic" is still something I want to see. This bride wasn't difficult. Randy just had a hard time finding her the right dress.

Exactly!!! I try on more times when I'm buying jeans!! Wedding dress is a big deal!! I wouldn't be surprised if I tried all patterns and silhouettes when my time comes! I guess I wouldn't want to go to Klienfields if this is their reaction for a bride who tried on just 10 dresses!😂😂

No firing that is their job to video titles to get the viewers attention. If you can do better, then apply for the job.

She was difficult cause she just kept saying not to the options and didn’t contribute with suggestions. She didn’t even want to try the last one cause of the little blink it had upon Randy pushing she tried it and was the best. She even recognized she was difficult at the beginning. She was not rude or disrespectful but definitely was a difficult appointment

When you spend over $2,000 for a dress that you will wear for one day, trying on over ten dresses is totally understandable.

A satin dress would not have been flattering for her figure.

My dress was the 8th one I tried. 10 doesn't seem so outrageous or difficult.

I think they didn't because that style didn't fit the aspects she desired for her dress.

I agreed with him but I think she could have just worn one of those sticky bras for lift and a corset in the front to help her curves. Like most brides have all kinds of contraptions underneath to look good so I don’t think that should necessarily be a disqualification but if she didn’t want to do all that then yeah don’t go with that dress but I definitely think it could have been helped rather than just getting rid of it

I mean if that's not what she wants then she has the right to a different dress but showing fat isn't a bad thing at all and pushing that onto brides definitely won't help them especially in the long run

I think the problem wasn't the dress, the problem was the bra. With a good bra it would be fine.

It's more there's a limit on how many dresses you can try on at a single appointment. Typically an appointment is only 2 hours long and it takes time to get in and out of such elaborate dresses. I don't feel like they were calling her a difficult bride, but more the appointment was becoming difficult (and the title just is worded to be click bait-y) because the time was getting short and they wanted to help her find the perfect dress. I did my dress shopping back in October/November and went to three shops in total. Each time it started out slow and casual but as the end of the appointment got closer it got more difficult in looking at dresses because I only had time for maybe 3 more dresses but there were maybe 6 possible ones to look at that had been pulled for me. My yes dress was the very last dress I had time to try on in the 3rd shop. Luckily it was the end of the day right before the shop closed so they didn't have to rush me out right away and let me keep the sample dress on while we set up the order information (I loved it so much I didn't want to take it off lol even though the sample dress was far too large on me) If I remember correctly, my yes dress was the 27th dress I tried on over the total of 6 hours of dress shopping I had across all three appointments.

There's a limit in how many you can try on during a single appointment. The appointments only run so long so that the next bride can have a chance. She should have made at least two separate appointments to try on that many dresses.

At least she hadn’t tried on over a hundred dresses like the lady at Kleinfeld’s

I wondered that too, then I looked back at her friend's face. You could see that her friend was studying the brides face when she walked out in that second dress. I believe her friend gave a positive reaction to it, because she had noticed that the bride really, really liked that one.

The one she chose was similar but it suited her figure far better....her chest looked far better (not drooping like in the other one) and her stomach was nowhere near as prominent(the other dress highlighted her stomach as it was more fitted and the fabric also showed it off far more). So a much better choice the one she picked.

She had a belly - most women who have children do - most women look better in dresses that do not hug their bodies so snugly.

If you take a 100 dresses you've got commitment issues and actively trying to avoid the wedding but putting the fears on the dress and/or an absolutely insufferable diva who is dragging their family/friends through hell because of multiple appointments.

I might try on 100 pairs of pants and end up with nothing because they didn't fit the way I expected them to, or didn't fit at all, or I don't feel like accepting pants that are too tight, too low, have too many holes, or no pockets just because those are the predominant styles. That doesn't mean I have commitment issues, especially if I'm not the one picking them out. A wedding dress is no different. Not everyone views a piece of fabric as a symbol of their whole relationship. They just want to be comfortable and not spend hundreds or thousands on something they don't like. I'd be pissed spending $20 on a pair of ugly pants.

@@luna-p it has been in peer reviewed academic journals like the APA'S own journal, the journal of psychology, in journals that just review the methodologies if you think that's not enough to be considered actual science then you can't even believe mental illness exists or has negative symptoms as those come from the same journals. it's what the dress symbolizes and fear of commitment that combines to create the issue at a certain point

Yes you are correct but you would need more than a single appointment to do so. An appointment only runs about 2 hours long so that the next ride has a chance to shop.

There are also the cultural differences when it comes to wedding dress styles and expectations, particularly in the strapless and bling or no bling areas.

I've seen comments in previous videos that the bride/entourage were at the salon for as much as 11 hours, with the bride trying on LOTS more dresses than shown online or on TV - just edited down, but, of course, with the drama still included.

Absolutely !!! Shedoes have the right!! but I also believe if you try on too many wedding dresses then somethings not right in general. My mom went to 15 boutiques to find a dress she truly wanted and had to settle for one. And let's just say the marriage was not that good either.

Because at some point it's not the dress it is actually manifesting fears of commitment and wasting everyone's time.

@@swaminim7058 it's exactly the same concept of a couple fighting about how the dishwasher was loaded it actually isn't about the dishes it's a symptom of something else. The more dresses you try on the more it shows you're anxious about the wedding and the marriage falling apart due to commitment issues. They've literally done psychology research into this topic and studies with picking a wedding dress.

If you need a body shaper or corset then it cancels out the open back that's probably why they didn't consider it in her case

As a bridal consultant I’ll tell you that it depends. If you are a bride who has done a lot of research, been to other stores, or has a very clear vision of what they are looking for I don’t mind letting that bride pick out their dresses. However, that is not the case for most brides. Many don’t know what they want, don’t understand silhouettes, fabrics, or the way the dress will look on their unique bodies. I’ve seen the dresses on women of various shapes and sizes so I know most of the time how the dress will look on the bride and that saves a lot of time because I will then only pull ones that are more flattering to her body type (we only usually have 1.5 hrs). The other reason is that in a high end bridal boutique there are hundreds of dresses and it’s just impractical to let people loose in the stock, especially considering that they aren’t usually sectioned off by price and you could easily pull something out of budget. In addition they look very very different on the hanger and in bags then they do on the body.

That was my first thought, but I don’t know how well a backless shaper holds… 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don’t speak Dutch, but I will always prefer hearing their voice over one voice over which it just blends it all together. The bride though spoke good English idk if her family/friend did. Still I like hearing different languages. :)
