Great criticism. I was definitely at times one of those “let’s keep waiting it’ll all come together” people, and I realize now how much credit we gave it simply because of past Digimon series’ quality. When I would criticize parts of it inevitably people would comment things like “stop comparing it to past Digimon seasons” - somewhat ironically those old shows’ quality was the number one reason I KEPT watching this one, hoping for a mid season pivot towards greatness.

How do we destroy a god-like being that can mess around with time and space?

Having recently rewatched all of Digimon Tamers, I fumbled into this video and the whole rant reminded me of the disconnect between my perception of Tamers and what Tamers was.

Digimon Ghost Game is on par with Pokemon Journeys in how HORRIBLY written and managed they are. In fact, they are so similar in low quality that it's almost eerie and a coincidence that they are what they are. I wonder if anyone had noticed this.

Everything about the finale is giving me huge whiplash on how terrible it is, Quantumon explaining about human emotions and stuff is just terribly explain. Leviathan the main villain of appmon gave a better commentary about human emotions bcs it makes sense and you understand his motivation. Anyways what are your next plans on Digimon and do you have any plans on covering appmon bcs unlike ghost game, appmon actually does have commentary on A.I.

I just finished watching this show because I was watching it with a friend and most things can be at least mildly enjoyable by doing it with a friend, it was fun to talk crap about this show with him, but I feel relieved that this is over and I don’t have to watch this ever again.

I think the appearances of characters like Millenniummon, Quartzmon and Dagomon in the last episodes were just a last-minute attempt at serial escalation to keep people hooked, but just because they knew the series was ending. It felt out of the blue, but since they won't affect much of the status quo anyway they're just doing that to play the shocking card. That way Digimon fans would look at stuff like the Lilithmon episode and have a momentary illusion something important happened there, now that's what I call a cheap shot.

I wasn't disappointed by the ending; I took it and lived with it. Still trying to understand but whatever.

I know I'm late, but I want to say how much Ghost Game let me down...

I wonder what this "set of beliefs" you think Ghost Game was sending that you can't speak about due to RU-vid.

So that's how it ends? Mind you I didn't even follow the show and feels like this is still unsubstantial as an ending.
