Watching you talk so naturally is kinda kinda like chatting with a friend 👌🙃 You convinced me to try the Filmconvert and it made a BIG improvement even with low res Insta360 X3 footage! It's very easy to use but very powerful and also fun to play with trying to find that perfect look. Just bought the full version with your link and I highly recommend it to everyone.

I've done the film nitrate process yet the concentrate level thru fugi Kodak corrected all profiles in GIT files. My PC over booted it's flow nitrate. Becarefull with the final cut nitrate process it can overexpose contrast in all functional freeps.

Oh I love the Nitrate process, it’s an incredible piece of software. Git files, sounds like you need a Mac lol. Ever since I switched to MacOS I’ve never looked back, it just makes life so much simpler.

@@PhillipSkraba i second that. Max is made for user ms 3-99+ windows crap is made for error pils and constant fight. I switched to max and I can’t be thankful enough to Phil who helped me make a right decision

Great introduction into this plugin I just started using DaVinci resolve having a lot of fun on Hey Phillip what do you think of the black magic cameras I’m considering the 6k pro

Thank You! This is an excellent addition to DaVinci! I'm personally not a huge fan of BM, if I had to choose a cine camera it would either be the Sony FX6 or the Red Komodo, but luckily I don't have the money to burn on them lol.

That’s a great video, thanks Philip. Can you give any comment on a comparison to mfilmlook and/or Color Finale? Would be interested in knowing when you use which plug-in (not sure if you have Color Finale, but mfilmlook). Thanks, greetings from Essen, Germany 😊

Thank You! I have both mFilmlook, Color Finale 2 and Cinema Grade. Color Finale 2 and Cinema Grade are both quite advanced colour grading plugins, they do a great job, but FilmConvert is a completely different ball game. FilmConvert Nitrate is a plugin that gives us the opportunity to get the "film look" in a more organic manner as they have real scanned film stock and camera profiles allowing us to cater each stock to the camera we are using, it's really quite ingenious. The level of quality achieved by using FilmConvert Nitrate is incredible, it really feels like you've just shot your footage on film stock, something you can't achieve by using the other plugins. Thanks for your quick reply. So seems like you don’t combine the other plugins with FilmConvert, you rather would use FilmConvert in case you want to achieve an organic film look and the more advanced tools for other needs probably. Is there still a use case for mFilmlook then?

For me FilmConvert and mFilmlook are two totally different plugins for two completely different approaches. I use MotionVFX plugins in almost every single video I make and I absolutely love them, I use their plugins as an addition to my shots, titles, thirds, flares, trackers, RU-vidr plugins, so much great stuff, but FilmConvert for me is about working on the base of my shot, creating the base look, the character, the grain, the feeling of it. MotionVFX plugins would be the 2nd step after I've used FilmConvert.

@@PhillipSkraba you need to step up the game and get into 30 min zone. Everytime your comes to an end I’m thinking oh ffs why, why on earth it’s not 20,30 or 40 min. Your US video was I damn good one and timed very good over 40 min 👌👍

@@PhillipSkraba to be entirely honest I’ve seen some tutorials that after 30 sec I want to smash my phone to stop my ears and eyes bleed. Yours on another hand is a pleasure to watch. Even if you do a review of a 1200$ camera lens which I won’t ever buy I still watch it till the end 😂😂😂😂 and that’s something good I would say
