You have the numbers completely wrong but it is true that he manages to make even a stadium concert feel intimate. I enjoyed both Moscow and Astana immensely despite the differences

I agree with Laura. Actually one can review the Arnau version of all his songs, they were all the best recordings except, forgive me for saying, SOS where the sound engineers, the orchestra and Dimash slightly lost contact because the crane was swinging him around rather wildly 20 metrers above the ground. Arnau also introduced the re-engineered version of Screaming, and I wish the original release was like that, it sounded better live than the original version did. Someone did a really fine re-arrangement of Screaming for Arnau. Even Sinful Passion was really brilliant live and Give Me Your Love, has Caleb yet reviewed the dancing by Dimash? The Arnau version was perfect, how does one achieve that Live? Back to Ogni Pietra though which was the highlight, and the Arnau version of that song was, imho, the greatest vocal performance in recorded history. He even bested himself with that, I have never heard or seen something that perfect recorded Live. Ever. I attended concerts by Pavarotti, Whitney Houston, Freddy Merc, Josh G etc, NEVER seen anything that good.

The composer and/or the lyricist have the copy rights for the songs (and they are also billionaires who hold the entire industry in their pockets, including the TV music station ownership), and they decide how they are to be performed. That's also why when Dimash decided to sing the song "Know" live in the Moscow concerts (check it out, so beautiful, especially the live versions from fan cams), they later replaced it on TV with a studio version. People who attended the concerts noticed the difference and were very surprised and angry, but most of them simply don't realize what is really going on behind the scenes. God only knows what trouble it got Dimash into - he hasn't performed this song again so far. All singers who worked with Krutoy, even the most famous ones, including opera singers, were forced to lip sync. That's just how the industry works in the Post Soviet countries, it has nothing to do with Dimash and there is no need to go after him for this because he has no say in the matter. These guys are rich and powerful and are running the shots there, he has no chance to achieve anything there without their support. There is enough great live performances to react to, no need to focus on what can't be helped. Especially as it is clear as day, considering all we know about his vocal abilities, that in any case he really can sing those songs and that what we hear is his own voice.

@@CalebColesMusic Caleb, please do so. There's a group of people who always leave same pattern of comments and it's really annoying. 1. First they say they are 'a fan' or even 'the biggest fan' but then here comes 'but' part 2. They would claim it's not Dimash's decision even though at his own concert(They never present any evidence for this) 3. They would say Dimash is capable and yet if you ask certain songs like Sinful Passion, Tired Love of Swans, Love is Like a Dream and Ogni Pietra, they would say none of them have been performed live. In my opinion, if a singer can never perform certain songs live, that's not really being 'capable', that's 'avoiding and cheating' so if what they say it's right, I don't think Dimash can be called a capable singer. So what they're doing essentially 'undermining credibility' in my opinion 4. Some of them might claim they are 'pros' but if you question thoroughly, they are not. Sometimes they don't even know the basics of post production or singing. For example, a guy like Michael who keeps leaving comments on your channel about Dimash's lip syncing would claim he's a 'singer' but he's not a 'professional singer' Anyway man, your channel has grown a lot. Congrats. I am happy a talent like you who can cover freaking Jeff Buckley is growing. Cheers for your channel!

@@whatthell I know what I know, I have no desire to argue with you. The question is not whose and what concert or performance it is but whether and how he is bound and allowed to perform these certain songs. There are enough performances with world famous great artists lip syncing while cooperating with this particular person. And it is not just him, the entire show business in Russia and other post Soviet countries is prone to it. You can check it out if you want.

I like the Kremlin version better too. I don't enjoy the distraction of dancers etc.

I completely agree! Kremlin lets you really focus on the music, lyrics, and what Dimash is doing with his face/hands/body. No dancers and, as you said, the meaning of the song (I feel) is conveyed strongly through him being alone on stage. The swans in the background are beautiful and help visualize the meaning of the lyrics as well.

The fancam version is not the best one, official version, you can find on Igor Krutoy RU-vid channel is the one to watch.
