Thalapakatti Chicken Biryani
Ingredients
Chicken - ½ Kg
Seerga samba rice - 2 cups (Approx. 400 grams, soaked 15 mins in water)
Coriander seeds - 2 teaspoon
Pepper - ½ teaspoon
Fennel seeds - ½ teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Cinnamon stick - 6 to 8
Bay leaf - 1
Mace - 1
Cloves - 10
Cardamom - 3
Star anise - 1
Kalpasi
Cashews
Shallots - 200 grams (approx.)
Garlic cloves - 10 to 12
Ginger - 2 inch
Coriander leaves
Mint leaves
Green chilli- 4
Oil - 3 tbl spoon
Ghee - 2 tbl spoon
Grinded onion paste
Turmeric powder
Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
Curd - 4 tbl spoon
Water - 4 cups
Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
Salt

I am from Andra Pradesh. Yesterday I tried correct megerment...it came out Restarent style.. no words to say how tell Thanks. Once I went restarent I tasted. That cost 900 rs. But yesterday I prepared only with 100 rs chiken. Saved lots of money. Thank you so much sister with lots of love. 😍😍😍

I tried tis today. It came out really well. One change I made. Tat s instead of dum I kept 2 whistles in medium flame. But the consistency wasn't gd. So better follow wat exactly she shows. U'll definitely feel proud bout urself. Such an awesome briyani u can make!!!

Hi i am from Germany. I bought exactly the same ingredients and it came out very well! It tasted like the real thalappakatti Dindigul briyani! Best briyani i ate in my whole life!! Without any doubt u can try this recipe..... Came out very well. My family members loved it. You can pair this biriyani with any gravy instead of chicken 65. I paired it with pepper egg gravy. 😋😋
