Hi guys this Jeff at Slavens racing this video is about, a, a new fork guard called the Dingo Fort Guard. It covers the upper fork area; you know this area in here and
this is the stoutest fort guard on the market alright. It's going to give you the most protection. We carry a lot of different brands of fort guards and you know this is not the best-looking one but it's. I think the carbon-fiber ones got a beat in though. It'll look square, but this is an extremely functional fork guard that will protect
your fork during pretty big impacts actually, not just rocks getting kicked up from your buddy in front of you. It's made out of plastic, I don't know what kind, I don't really care, I just want… all I care is that it works and you can see on the inside here it's got these ribs and that kind of gives it a gap away from the tube and also gives it extra
protection.
So, it’s just like all the rest of them… or not all the rest I'm selling wrap around one and a Velcro one, but this just you just kind of started on one end see if I can do this one while holding the camera right yep.
So, you just kind of started on one end there. Pop it on get back here so there it is. So, they come in several colors I believe we have them in orange black blue and red. I'll pick people aren't you in here just because it shows up the best in the video but I'll probably use the black ones myself a little more conservative for me but so from here I'm going to put these on a fork tube and I'm going to smash it on a rock wall.
So, you can see, uh, what they would do to protect your bike. Just give me just a second, I'll go outside and I'm gonna hit it like this first on this concrete and I don't know why but it makes a weird noise in the video. It doesn't really reflect what it really sounds like, but we'll just have to deal with that. I'm gonna hit this pretty hard on here, I would never do that normally, otherwise we just keep in the fork tube. I'm gonna hit it on this edge here. I’m gonna take this off, you can see there's no damage whatsoever none and this is amazing, it's an excellent product reasonable price point I believe they're $44.95 for the pair and these tubes cost $400 new over $400 on some models and so for $45 you can protect your $400 tube. Both tubes so $800 worth of tubes and this has loaned to me by Enduro Spec.
I think that's all for now guys, I mean it's a it's a great product, kind of a no-brainer cus’ just rocks kicking up from your buddies in front of you can can destroy a fork tube and what happens is just those little dings dent the fork tube in especially the new bikes I mean they're really it made the walls thinner to get the fork more flex. So just a ding from your buddy you like your buddies got a big 500 front of you and he throws up a rock at your tube and it's just destroyed because then the fork the inner tube hangs up where that dent was there is and it also destroys the bushing so you know you have to replace the tube at that point.
