I watched the video. Nothing was mentioned about adjusting the lights up or down. Do customers have the ability to adjust them or are they locked into a pre-determined position on the bracket? If we can adjust them, do we guesstimate when the bumper is off and then lock them down or is there a way to adjust them when the bumper is back on? I have the SS3's on an Outback and also RAM 3500. I can adjust those.

Something I found out the fog lights do not fit none of the hatchback including the type r please be aware it says so on their website in the fitment section

It fits but is the wrong connector to the Type R’s harness.

Hello, greetings, I have a civic si 2020 and I bought the lights on your page, I saw how I installed them and I liked them but I could not install them, the connection does not connect with the factory connection and. It doesn't fit well in the ring of lights that you recommend, how can I connect them, thanks.

I know this is pretty old now, but I just bought a set of these SS3 max and I was trying to see how you’re supposed to adjust them? I’m guessing you’re supposed to set them not quite super tight so you can push on them to adjust them?

They are tricky to adjust when the bumper is on the car, so get them pretty centered and lock them in place before putting the bumper back on

@@EdgeAutosport I tightened them down to where I figured I could just slip them a bit. Hopefully they don’t end up loosening up and moving on their own. It’s a very cheesy way to adjust very expensive fog lights. They are very bright and very awesome though. a lot of light gets output in the right direction. I only had one person/their highbeams at me but some people don’t understand when you’re coming up the hill they are likely going to get blasted.

Do you find the foreground too bright? Most people who use the ss3 mount them on trucks which so the fogs sit much higher

We really don't have a ton of experience with fog lights so it's hard to say how these compare to others. But I'll say these are REALLY bright. I don't find it annoying though. Just really bright lol.

@@EdgeAutosport Thanks man. I'm worried they may be too bright to a point where its a hazard and i'm blinding myself. Do you remember if they sent you the sport (200 dollar) or pro (300 dollar) version?

@@ngemu3400 Late reply, but i have a set of ss3 sport on my lifted 2020 wrangler. Granted mine are significantly higher from the road, but i doubt running them on a civic would be a problem. The fog optic is a super narrow vertical spread, i think its something like 8 degrees.

Can you recommend a good headlight to match the daytime run lights color temperature? Really bugs me on mine with the two tone haha

We haven't gotten into headlight stuff too much yet but we plan on it. I know we have our eye on the Morimoto head lights. I don't know if you'll ever get anything like this yellow for the headlights, nor should you, IMO. If anything, I'd try to match the fog lights with the head lights if it's a matching issue.

@@EdgeAutosport I meant like the DRL lights are cool white and the high/low beams are warm white. I was wondering if you knew any bulbs that match the DRL. Looking forward to the headlight video!

We haven't seen anything like that yet. We don't drive the car every day, but so far, so good.

The bumper is pretty sturdy even though it feels like you're going to rip it in half every time you take it off. But it's not that bad. We did a FMIC video with detailed instructions on how to take it off. Check it out, it'll help a lot

I just installed yellow fog light bulbs in the stock fog light housing. They're bright as hell.no need to replace the whole fog light assembly. Cost me 30 bucks. Had them over 3 years and still going.

Although I can't guarantee it, I would be willing to try if I were you. Diode's site says it doesn't fit the Si models for some reason. Well, we put them on ours without any trouble and all the fog lights locations are the same on the Type R so I think it'd be worth a shot. But again, I can't guarantee.

Supposedly there'll work but you need a plug adapter harness. I don't know why they don't just tell customers that. Instead they told me, We don't make any Fog lights that will fit the Type R. Sorry

Yeah I ran into the same issue. What did you do to solve it? Did you splice a jdm harness on or is there an adaptor out there that works?

Do something about the ugly fake honeycomb has anyone tried to cut some small holes ??

Multiple people have cut holes in the driver side honeycomb. Helps get some fresh in when running a cold air intake

We really don't have a reason to cut them right now. If we needed some fresh air supply to something like an oil cooler or brakes or something, we might get into doing that one day.
