World Record 500hp 10th Gen Honda Civic Si 1.5T | We did it! 

We have seen the recent PRL record, and are very happy for them! It is a great achievement, and we know the pains that go into pushing this platform where others have not gone. We have been surprised every step of the way as we have continued to push this car, being on a stock short-block makes us very confident that there is still much more on the table in the near future. We made a goal of reaching some records without the use of additional power adders (Nitrous, meth injection, etc) and we will continue to push for that. It forces us to continuously rethink our strategies and products in development to make sure we are leaving nothing on the table for our customers in the long run. As our main goal has been, and will always be to deliver the best products to our customers. Going after these records is a great way to push ourselves and find new innovative ways to bring products to market. We look forward to what is to come, and are excited about the competition!

The torque on these 1.5t motors are usually as high as the horsepower if not sometimes higher. In spite of the high hp, I noticed the torque was kept to a rod friendly 300+ and I'm pretty sure the curve was moved up in the powerband. I wouldn't mind seeing further developments on this

PRL just got 617whp out of one today. Looks like they now hold the World Record.

Cant wait to make my first order. My daughter being born set me back quite a bit, so slowly but surely! #priorities lol

So sick. 😎 see these motor can handel power.. The biggest thing was that they kept the Tq curve low.. Reason that engine didnt blow to pieces yet lol 513whp, 300ish wtq.. Nice. Most people are pushing more tq or equal tq to the WHP they putting down.. Reason they blowing these rods out the motors.. But great job MAP.. Over 500hp from a OEM motor with a couple tricks and now serious power. 😎😎 👍👍

How are you preloading the driveline? I did some testing and am considering making a normally closed switch harness that would go in series with the drivers seat belt switch. It seems to have a slight delay, but if you don't care about RT, it should be nicer to axles.

The extra fuel from the sandwhich plate is pretty awesome, but wouldn't using an AEM water methanol injection kit be more suitable to help keep the intake air temps low whilst boosting the octane of the fuel?

I got a question here. I have a honda accord 2.0T touring and i would like to know what would be the limit (hp wise and torque) to push the small engine before it starts becoming an issue. I dont mind losing some mpg but i dont want to destroy the lifespan of the engine and trans by a lot either. Edit. I know its a 2.0 at the end of the day but i would still like to make good power for a 2 liter to have fun

The type R should have used the SI coupe chassis/body rather than the hatch. It would've been much more of a hit.

That may not sound like much but remember that these cars weight like 2,700lbs, on the other hand, your typical hemi Challenger packs like 480hp but it also weighs over 4100lbs, pratically a Damm ambulance

Question, how did you guys manage to dyno the car without going into Limp mode? i did the TCS/VSA light blinking step and the car still goes into Limp mode with all lights on the dash.

im no engineer but what good is all that power if there isnt proof of daily driving to show that WORLD RECORD can also perform as a daily driver and not blow up in your face months later down the road if that makes sense.
