Was about to sign a contract with a staffing agency but i have some doubts in the offer letter, thankfully my tito sent me this video and sir kudos to you it's so informative and is a big help. With the contract that i received from them i cannot choose my location, i cannot do part time job, i need to ask them permission etc in short sunud-sunuran ang peg. Meron pa ata mga agency na nagsasabi na free sponsorship sa nclex or ielts and other things pero most of the time may catch yun since too good to be true naman talaga ang makakuha ng free.

My husband signed with Avant. Still thankful parin kami kasi we cant afford direct hire wala kami budget pang upfront. With avant ang binayaran lang namin is IELTS nya pati visa namin ng mga bata since sya lang ang covered ni avant. Waiting pa kami ng interview. He has friends na nasa US na under avant ok naman daw pero syempre hindi pa yung talagang bonggang life since ayun nga under staffing agency e mag tiis muna while under contract buti nalnag with avant hours ang contract and OT is binabawas sa contract hours. Kaya more OT mas mabilis matapos ang contact. Im sure kakayanin naman dahil madiskarte mga pinoy pati importante is makapunta sa USA and live within our means and its not how much we earn what important is how much we save pero syempre mas masaya parin pag malaki sahod. Heheh. Tiis tiis nalang talaga muna. Godbless our nurses.

Also, akala ko din pag direct hire gagastos ka tlga.. hinde din pala.. sa mga kasama ko dito, ganun din, visa ng ibang dependents binayad nya.. tapos na re-imburse ung mga NCLEX and IELTS. but true, it is definitely way better kaysa sa set up sa pilipinas... :) But given a choice den, I wish I new about the direct hire process.. hehe..

I thank you and Lefora also for helping me decide to give up staffing agency, I paid 5000dollars bec I breach the contract. I have interview date already at that time. I paid for my nclex. I am 5 months pregnant at the time of my interview. I find it difficult to work how much more adjusting there alone and pregnant. I tried direct hire and they offered me 11dollar more in my hourly rate and doubled my sign in bonus from the previous agency. I am back with my I 140 stage while waiting for my delivery. Check requirements for that particular state.. If u need cgfns screening... Check if IELTs is required or PTE will be enough. Simultaneously look for a direct hire or a staffing agency. 😁 Good luvk

Very well said, Sir. Kahit yung friend ko na napunta sa NY, disappointed sa salary nya. Mas malaki pa raw sa Sg naiipon nya. Sa Sg kasi wala tayo car, car insurance at kung ano anong tax. Bayad lang sa room, pang mrt, food, pangluho monthly, ayos na.
From what i know NY has many taxes, and the cost of living is high compared to other states. Maybe she can choose or transfer to texas or florida that has less taxes.

kung magchoose po kayo ng agency. please do not choose Medpro. they will push you to choose a contract that only benefits them. if magrequest kaman kayo na lumipat sa bang facility, sisiraan kayo sa current facility nyo AT wawasakin pa ung reputation mo para hindi ka mahire sa ibang hospital. remember po na ung entry and foundation mo dito sa use is very crucial. kaya don't put your future in the hands of Medpro.

I'm under staffing agency and bound to be deployed next month. One of pros of the staffing agency is the hassle-free processing of your papers(from taking nclex to embassy interview) and even until you arrive to your respective client facility, you just need comply for the requirements and that's it, you'll just wait for them to process it (but you need to constantly follow-up). I'm under the sponsorship program of my staffing agency, they pay for ALL THE FEES! That's why Im very grateful with my agency because I am about to achieve my american dream without paying too much (because I cant afford processing/paying on my own), unlike when you're under direct hire, you really have to do all the process and payments, they'll just guide you how to do it.
Wrong notion. I was under Direct Hire but I did not pay for anything either. I agree 100% with what NurseJuan said based on my colleagues' experiences and mine.
@daniel veluz, may mga staffing agency na nagisponsor ng nclex, ielts, etc. Pero yung immigration fees, sagot ng employer yan kahit sa direct hire. May mga direct hire din naman na ang applicant ang magbabayad ng immigration fees like ptu, adventhealth which is legal naman. Pero napakaraming direct hire nowadays na wala ka babayaran aside from your dependents. You just have to do some research and choose wisely.

Its hard to come here with those kind of profession.... Very few employer will shoulder the visa processing for that type of work sad to say my friend.

Some agency will sponsor most of the expenses... Except for the basic stuff that will come from ur end. Best is to consult with different agencies to see what the expenses would look like.

Yup. Wife ko nag work sa NH before but singapore. But based sa mga kasama ko dito, mas magaan NH dito.... More pts but less acute ung mga status nila. Daily activities, Medications, Wound dressing, monitoring ng health status and mga appointments ung usual work routine nila.. any problem sa VS nila- or change sa status, papadala na sa hosp.
Pero baliktad naman sa kin haha a direct agency only offered me $23 starting (to be recalcluated l) against other staffing agencies offering me $30 - $35..this direct hire even neglected my file from september to march, wala nangyari (kahit P.D) waley ..so nagwithdraw na lng ako..so looking for other options..

I depends on the direct hire version. If its really like directly to the hosp, u pay more.... but if u go thru direct hire agencies, then u will mostlikely just pay for the documentation processing (cgfns) and greencard.... it is similar to the staffing agency also.... Depending on the agency, normally they will sponsor ur plane ticket and reimburse ur nclex ielts, but really depends.

Hey, could you tell me what LEGAL information that I need to know if I will be starting a direct hire agency. By doing this I won't have general liability insurance, workers comp, PEO software, etc. I can't find on google anywhere what are the LEGAL requirements to start a direct hire agency, and this is literally the only thing that matters in my opinion. Do I need a certain liscense? I know to register my LLC, get EIN, and register in the states I'm doing business in, but I need to know the other legal implications that I need to actually START this business. Thank you
Where are u based? There's a scarcity for nurses everywhere.. I am sure there would be a hospital willing to take u in. Most employers prefer a bigger hosp.. So take that into consideration.. Good luck
Mababa offer sa avant kasi nagisponsor sila ng mga nclex, etc. Saka may mga patraining sila na provided. Overall, mas maganda pa rin yung direct hire. So far, prsglobal yung may pinakamaraming reimbursed kahit direct hire sila. Napanood ko kay MamaRN.
@@NurseJuanOFW oo, sir. Binalik sa kanila yung nclex, Vs, ielts pati reimbursement. Lupet nga eh. Direct hire pa sila. Tapos yung ibang gastos like plane ticket, prs pa ang nagbayad upfront, binayaran na lang nila later.

Is it on the same hosp? Hmmmm.... if avant if paying better on the same hosp, then go with avant... do the math also, to compare the sign in bonus vs the hourly rate.. take note on the taxes for the bonus and terms 😁
Sir I signed an offer contract back in 2019 at a certain staffing agency, i had no nclex ielts back then, they haven't processed anything on me yet. Is that contract still valid and can go with a direct hire agency or can ask them to withdraw my contact or am i stuck with them? 😅 thank you!

Halos same lng estimated gastos with direct vs staffing. Area? If saan specialty mo and expi, use that as leverage. MS pinaka mabenta... Oks dij ICU and ER... Pero really depends sa needs ng agency client.

Hi po.. thank you for watching... honestly, mahirap makapunta sa us unless nasa medical field ka... brother ko na nasa IT, mag 15 years na dito, wala pa din xang green card....naka punta dito via their company sa US, but per contract lng. You can go other countries muna, usually mas ok benefits doon... u can try singapore.... if u really want to go sa US, fiance visa or via dependent ng mga nasa medical field papunta dito.... Sorry wala akong maxadong malinaw na sagot for u.. if based on expi, mas masaya mga filipino sa SG (non nursing) versus nun lifestyle nila sa PH. 😁

I got offered a Hospital Facility in a particular agency po (Direct) but ako po mag shoulder lahat before maka pag US including airfare and no reimbursements po. And also, all other agencies offered me SNF but they will reimburse everything. Ano po kaya mas okay? Should I go with a Hosp Facility na lang po kaya?
I would always go with a hospital setting vs a nursing home.... its wiser to shoulder everything na lng. Think of it as investment.. and just pay it out after 2 months in the us... very doable.... but it is totally up to u, since I cant see all the details and situation as compared sa inyo..😁

Depends on the Agency. Some do accept, but most likely they will place you on non acute settings like Nursing home or related to that. :) Which is better than getting the experience from the Philippines.
Based on expi and comparison sa iba,, mas mabilis ung mga direct hire.... thou dapat same lng yan sila... but go with direct hire.. mas advisable.... 😁

Good job But I think you missed very important points...with direct hire you will pay ponous to the agency....with direct hire you will pay everything to you and your families even the flight and it will be very cost if you have big family ....also all direct hire agencies have 3 years contract and have limited States as well Finally almost It will be same This is my opinion
It depends on the direct hire agency i guess. We compared whatever our staffing agency paid for us, that direct hire agency also paid the same for my colleagues... 🤷 The only downside is, less contact with the agent assigned with the direct hire. They never seen theirs, ours was present on day 1.
Sir just to ask. My husband distant relative offered him to apply to USA where the relatives wife and son currently work there. My husband was informed that the hosp is hiring foreign nurses. Is this the direct hire that you mean? Was the process difficult since no agency will guide him? Or we can find an agency in Philippines to guide us through the process.
So far I haven't met anyone na deretcho tlga.... u can ask sa lefora on how...but i think that would be more complicated... U can ask those who invited maybe they are familiar with the process or they have a suggestion... 😁

Hi can you compare the training between staffing agency and direct hire. I had a conversation with a staffing agency, they are going to train for 6 months virtually and hands on. I wanted to know if its the same situation with direct hire.
What staffing agency is that? Normally it is the hospital that trains you... depending on their hospital protocols... Some Agency like avant, will help u train for few weeks, the rest they wont really.... Most agency will supply you with educational stuff online, or modules... but training wise its more with the hospital.
if napirmahan nyo na po hayaan nyo na... doon nyo na lng malalaman if how much ung rate ng mga regular employee or direct hire pag dating nyo doon.. or u can ask sa Lefora, baka may pinoy na nagwowork doon.. hopefully hinde ganun ka laki ang difference.
