Such class, love Dirk. Just a normal Humble guy, who happens to be one of the best ever. ......”do you guys really know what every button in here does?...I mean all of them” hahaha
dirk just got back to being a teenager. sign him again cubes. Ahaha.. thank you man for this video. I will surely miss dirk and all his good deeds to the people of dallas. Truly an inspiration
he deserves every bit of it. i've watched him play for 21 years . as a new yorker i was supposed to be a knick fan in the late 90s but watching nash & nowitzki play i became a life time mavs fan. watching him retire felt like a part of me was retiring as his games have been a part of me since i was little kid.
He is such a good human. God bless you Dirk, enjoy your retirement and spend your money. Then in 1-2 years force Cuban to give you another 100 million, and part ownership of our team. Love you, 41.
That's so awesome that even the pilots love a guy so much they give him their own special retirement gesture. Everyone except Skip Bayless loves Dirk Diggler.
I remember him going to Dallas all the years ago. I remember thinking, maybe he will be the new Detlev Schrempf, whom i loved to see him play in Seattle with superstars like Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp. But i never ever thought he would end up as one of the greatest of all time. For us in Germany, at least those who love sports and basketball, he is the real G.o.a.t. And the best ambassador we ever had. Dirk for president, ääääh Chancellor ;)
I cannot thank Dirk enough for how he has influenced my life. I will miss him a lot! Too bad I never actually got to see him play live, in front of my own eyes. I would have cried, for sure! Lots of love from India, good luck for your next chapter you beautiful soul
I´m from Germany and I´m binging all of this Dirk retirement videos, although I don´t watch basketball at all. Honestly I only know the game because we had to play it in school :D
Very KOOL 😎 I have worked for a major airline for 32 plus years. It is true. When a pilot retires he/she gets the water canon tribute. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy!
DIRK......DIRK.....DIRK......DIRK......DIRK.....4EVERNOWITZKI 4EVERDIRK 4EVEROURS THANKS FOR EVERYTHING DIRK - THANKS FOR BEING YOU #41....My sports hero in everyway
He's the best ever! My entire family has been touched in some way by this wonderful human being. I was the 10th caller on ESPN radio years ago and my wife and I won a Meet & Greet with Dirk. What an amazing event that was for us. Our eldest son, Ezekiel, was chosen as one of the Cane's Chicken Anthem Kids when Dirk walked up to him on the court, rub the top of his head and said in that cool German accent, "HEY MAN!" Needless to say, my son was speechless.😂 Our youngest son, Elijah, worked his way down the stands through a massive crowd at the Dirk Nowitzki's 2018 Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game where he got his baseball autographed by Dirk. Just as Dirk was finishing up autographs and turning to head back to the locker room, people in the crowd were to get his attention by saying, "Dirk... For the little boy....." About 5 or 6 very generous and kind people passed Elijah's baseball down to Dirk. Although he must of signed what seemed like hundreds of autographs, he treated that one ball as if it was his first one of the day. #SELFLESS That's Dirk Nowitzki. We couldn't agree more with Charles Barkley. Dirk is the nicest guy EVER!! We can testify to that. We witnessed firsthand his generosity and kindness. I'm not one for role models, but this man takes the cake! He inspires us all, not just with his greatness in redefining the four position with the one-legged fade away, or the fact that he will be a first ballot Hall of Fame(r)..... but with his countless acts of selflessness in putting others before himself. He did that with the Mavs for 21 years of hometown discounts. And he's done with us, just so a couple boys would one day say, I met Dirk Nowitzki.... an iconic NBA Legend! God bless you and your family, Dirk. We love and appreciate you, and will be forever grateful for the 21 years you gave us night in and night out on and off the court. We can't wait to hear from you again. We look forward to it. Until then, we bid you Godspeed. May the Lord bless you and keep you... always. Amen.
He is so loved and the Mavs organization has done such an amazing job in honoring all of his accomplishments. Blessings over you and all of your future endeavors, Dirk.
Zanzo Ganzo that's because of the rivalry man, I'm sure if Duncan's last game was in Dallas and they would've paid tribute like the Spurs organization, it would've made me teary eyed and made you cry. It just shows you how true the rivalry was...I hated being put out by you guys so many times, but I never hated the spurs.. disliked them for sure but had mad respect for you all.
@@hadriangonzalez607 so true man. Your team has a great future with luca and porzingas. Cant say that about my spurs with our franchise player leaving, Aldridge being a weirdo and Derozen disappearing under pressure. I guess thats what we get for being extremely lucky the past 20+ years. How about we trade Aldridge and derozen for luca?? Cmon! 2 for the price of 1
Zanzo Ganzo I wouldn't be worried about you guys, the Spurs never leave relevancy.. thru might not get the same hope that Boston or LA do, but trust me your organization is a pillar just like those other two.
