what i actually dislike about brit is the fact that he constantly brings up how devil may cry combat is so amazing in comparison to other games, like in the spiderman ps4 video. i also goddam hate his ratchet and clank ps4 review because it seems to me that, instead of addressing it as disappointing game, is actually addressing it as an awful game
if not the worst game on earth, while is instead a good addiction to the franchise, despite it does have defects, such as the plot that could have been better and the short lenght and the 30fps (though i don't always mind the frame rate that much, if it solid i'm okay), but it was gameplay wise one of the best games in the series and it was a real pleasure for the eyes in my opinion
in any case i will never think of ratchet and clank ps4 as disappointment i really enjoyed it. if there is a r&c game that i could think as really disappointing if not bad was certainly into the nexus

I love hearing about these kinds of wacky 7/10 kind of games that where everywhere on the Wii and PS2, back when videogame-budgets didn't have to be either a 100 million for a AAA-game or some artistic retro indie-game. I would love to see you talk about some of those other games you showed, like Sin and Punishment and Another Code. Keep it up! :-) Also, I think this game would be even better if the villians had the same fun design as the main character. He looks like one of the guys from FFXV, while they look like Weskers son from RE6. They should have some crazy anime-hair as well to match their personalities.
I think those have kind of made a comeback as of late, with games like Lucky's Tale and Trials of Mana. It isn't as prominent as it was in the 6th gen/Wii era, but it's certainly a nice break from all the artsy pantsy AAA games.
The credits in the game are for the motion capture actors. Some of them also did the voices, some of them did not. That's why the colonel doesn't sound like Daniel Southworth.

I just bought the _Rachet & Clank Collection_ based on your positive review. I loved it. Thanks for the head's up. The Wii was a blast for me but I wish Nintendo localized more of the hardcore games like _Disaster, Captain Rainbow, Toshinden_ and _Gundam SenSen._ If it wasn't for Operation Rainbow then we'd never have gotten those three great RPGs.
Man I forgot about this game. The Wii is slowly becoming one of my favorites because of all those weird games and ports. I've been replaying the hell out of REmake and house of the dead 3&4. Shame about all that waggling stuff. I also like how your trying to throw shade at devil may cry. You can't escape, from this series. It's your calling to endlessly reference dmc in unrelated material! Embrace your destiny!

That montage of Wii gems at the end was really nostalgic. I was playing on a budget during that generation, so played games on DS, Wii, my PS2 backlog, and occasionally PC (mainly DMC4). So although the Wii didn't have the best library of games, it resulted in me trying a bunch of interesting games that I might not have played otherwise, like Zack & Wiki, Sin & Punishment, and House of the Dead Overkill. Didn't play Another Code, but I Trauma Center was already a series I was familiar on DS and the Wii remote worked so well with that series.

Gamingbrit, you could try getting the word out to publishers like Devolver Digital to get this game remastered/rereleased on current consoles and pc. Super Best Friends got Devolver Digital to rerelease Metal Wolf Chaos, another game that was sadly never releases in the US or UK.

What the heck Nintendo of America!? I would've totally bought this game day 1. They keep freakin doing this with more mature games on their consoles. The villain reminds of John Travolta's main bad guy from John Woo's BrokenArrow. They could rerelease this game today if they wanted to. Switch and PS4 still have motion controllers. Just slap a little HD polish and you've got a great fun Japanese action game to sell on PSN for around $30 to $40. Heck, even do a physical copy in stores, crazy. Great video, too bad I can't play this as American Wiis are region locked... :/
I wanted this game so badly when I first read about it in Nintendo Power. But of course I live in North America and Reggie fucked us over with this one.
Makes you wonder what games like Xenoblade 1 could have been like if released in early 2008 and had motion controls forcibly stuffed into the gameplay.
Ruben is one of those voice actors that seems to crop up everywhere 😂 him and the guy that voices Nero are in sengoku basara samurai hero's for the wii aswell honestly they even play really similer roles to their dmc characters
Wow, Disaster: Day of Crisis....the first time I ever did a video review, it was for this game :) Overall I liked. The motion controls were kinda hit & miss. The arcade like shooting segments were really nice. Driving was horrible though... I remember there being one kind of minigame were you had to stop a meteor from hitting the earth and destroying the planet....talk about an ultimate disaster. I never managed to finish it (the meteor-minigame) and I am still wondering to this day, what this would have unlocked. Back in the day I couldn't find any Info on it. I would really like to know.
