@@tume2844 it’s EA’s name and reputation on the game. They’re responsible for it and always have been. They’re happy taking all the money from it so stop making excuses for them. Imagine being a fanboy of EA and trying to defend them online 😂 so sad.
@@bipolarminddroppings 1) No, no they don't. They play big tourneys on LAN for a reason. 2) Most other esports have a function that allow players to reconnect without a big issue. Maybe it's a rollback system, like SC or Dota, where both players can pick up at a previous point in the game, maybe it's something else, but most games have something. 3) Most "disconnects" in LAN esports aren't network issues. It's graphics drivers crashing (especially on new games, or games with recent major updates) or problems with the actual hardware itself like I/O devices failing or rarely the whole damn thing failing. None of these issues apply to the F1 Esports event this year. They're on LAN, there's no excuse for lag or screen drops or network issues. This isn't a new game, they aren't releasing huge updates, the game engine isn't new, there shouldn't be any issues with software. And, they make them play on hardware that they select themselves, so if that's failing, it's on the TO.
@@Nanoarciere Are you retarded? DCs happen in every major esport event not only in F1! Dota & CS also! Dont talk bullshit when you have no idea what's happening
Let's just call this for what it is!! For this happen at this level especially to one driver is nothing less than disgusting. How can someone spend 12-18 hours daily practicing to be unfairly dealt this hand...F1 ESports is a joke this year. This man won PSGL and WOR this year and not to finish in the top 2 in ESports just shows how distracting these freezes are and its disappointing for Jarno to waste a year putting his effort and time into this
Agree. And I don't see what F1 get out of giving EA the official license. In my opinion they could just do e-sports on iRacing and then let EA make a formula game like they do with FIFA/FC.
Also that way content creators can keep on making series like "my team" on the EA/consumer version of the game. And EA can focus on the casual player and make a great storyline based game that you actually could master on PS with a controller. For the esport side you have so many opportunities on iRacing. They could have, like in real life, a way for people to get to F1 e-sports. Where you start in lower classes and have to rise through the ranks. I think that would gain more invested players both on the consumer side and the competing side.
@@yubakadi217 every game has bugs…. But iRacing is a proper sim not an arcade so why on earth is an arcade game used in the pro setting , it makes 0 sense to anyone with more than one braincell, not realistic whatsoever
We’re actually seeing a strategic masterclass from jarno here. He racks up enough grid penalties to have forced last in the first 5 races next season, then he can just let the ai race for him and have an extended holiday when the next season starts
24:20 WHOS GONNA BE LAST ON THE BRAKES?! LECLERC HAS THE INSIDE LINE CUTS THE CHICANE OFF GOES LECLERC THROUGH GOES HAMILTONNNNNNNN!!!! John Evans-Perez Jed-Leclerc Jarno-Hamilton
I don't understand how they settle on EA making an Esports title. They have 0 experience making a premiere esports title, and any gamer who has played an EA game in the last 10-15 years knows they are a shit company that only pursues Q1-4 profits over all else. Making a good game is not their goal.
Last time I heard, on professional events they at least tried to fix it by swapping PC. It's completely unacceptable and unprofessional for an OFFICIAL event mind you to not try to fix a problem just let it be like it's not that big of a problem. It's either the game that is dogshit, which I get, it's not fixable by admins, but (if I understood it correctly) they did not tried to fix the problem? The fuck? Why isn't there a "Pause" or "Red Flag" option in this game to completely freeze everyones game until the person reconnects and no one loses any position, time ESPECIALLY the one who disconnected. It's only fair this way. I would retire from this sport immediately and go somewhere else. This is completely unplayable.
I've been watching this series since he uploaded the Saudi Arabia round and asking questions to myself like did he change his mentality, I feel like doesn't want to win like in previous seasons, his quali pace is not fast he can make harsher comments to himself and maybe get back to his old condition bla bla but this race I believed that he still has that champion mentality. Disconnecting from a LAN event which is held by F1 ESPORTS??? That must felt terrible but he kept it calm, tried to reconnect ASAP and played the patient game to get some points. Great job Jarno, you are the real champ!
I don't really understand why this season isn't just voided to be honest, not because of just you, but the entire thing looked scuffed. Austria with the VSC, screen freezes for a fair few amount of drivers, brendan having a wheel disconnect ect. All on LAN. IMO as much as I like Freddie and think he does deserve a championship, this season doesn't really show the fastest, it showed who was the luckiest to have the least issues from the game. It must be shit for him also knowing that he won this season of all of them, the one that is completely scuffed... When there were issues they should have just pressed pause and fixed them before going, doesn't really make sense.
Crazy that they where not able to fix it for the whole wcent. Another question i have: Wy you use in qualy Lewis car (yellow markong) and in race Russells car (blue marking)?
its a joke with the disconnecting...about the screen freezes, ive never had them and im on an older gpu from like 2018-19 i run mostly on high with no particles
