In Hachioji city, Tokyo, there was a brick manufacturing plant of Osaka ceramics, and there was an industrial railway from Hachioji station to the factory.
The bricks made in Osaka ceramics were used for various purposes such as the construction of the Chuo Main Line, but the factory was closed due to the factory fire in 1934, and the Osaka ceramics industrial railway was abolished on April 20, 1938.
Most of the traces of the track disappeared due to redevelopment, but the abutment remains at the intersection with the Keio Line.
