At Nakagami Station on the Ome Line in Japan, there was a dedicated line used to bring materials to the Tachikawa Air Base of the US military, and it was called the Nakagami Railroad Siding.
The railroad was laid around the end of the Pacific War and was in operation until around 1969, but was abolished in 1978.
The abandoned railway trails have become roads and parks, and the rails and turnouts of that time are left as monuments.
