This dish is classically done across Bombay using mutton(goat) kheema. The gamey flavor of the goat/lamb combined with the spices are just heavenly. Chicken isn't quite the same but is a cheaper and healthier alternative. I grew up eating this dish for special occasion breakfasts and my mom used to make some of the best kheema pav ever. This brought back a lot of memories.

You're always fun to watch. It's already 1:13am here, I have two new subordinates to train later but since you just uploaded a new video I guess I can spare 5+ minutes more of my precious sleeping time and watch you. Loved the video, as always. Good morning from Cagayan de Oro, PH! :)

Hmm I can imagine that in tortilla wraps! Love your recipes man, so easy, so quick! And yeah, that 6,5 is way too cheap for that greatness. People here in Hungary would pay for it instantly, I guess 10-11pounds at least in the old UK!
@ArachonX
@ArachonX 8 лет назад
+Bence Illés Here in Germany, I'd say that that plate would easily go for about 8 to 10 GBP! If you had made it with lamb about 12 GBP, I guess
8 лет назад
+ArachonX Exactly. So sad lamb is kind of a "rarity" nowadays. :/ I really love it.

Would you like to collab with DJBBQ? You two both have so much positive energy! Maybe even a competition to see who's dish gets the most money? You do an English dish and DJBBQ does a American dish, both you using the same ingredients and cooking time? I for one would love to see that!

@evanthomas3778
@evanthomas3778 8 лет назад
+Humbers its actually more traditionally done with lamb!
@theo7371
@theo7371 8 лет назад
+Humbers It doesn't have anything too expensive though. Chicken minced meat, spices and a couple of eggs. It could go up to 9 on a restaurant but this is street food supposingly, you have to take that into account.

I would suggest cutting the bun in half, heating a little butter on a pan and cook the bun on the pan till it is a little crispy and crunchy. Your Kheema is excellent though.

@yohannsetna
@yohannsetna 6 лет назад
In the original version, the eggs are cracked over the kheema, and the lid put back on, so that they steam/poach, and the egg white goes all into the gaps in the kheema. You're not supposed to fry the eggs separately.
