Disneyland Anthology Television Series Intro Collection (1954 - 2003)

In celebration of The Walt Disney Studios 100th Anniversary I've created this collection of intro sequences from the Anthology series, beginning with 1954 and ending in 2000. In order they are: Disneyland (1954-1958), Walt Disney Presents (variation 1) & Walt Disney Presents (variation 2) (1958-1961), The Wonderful World of Color (1961-1969), The Wonderful World of Disney (1969-1979), Disney's Wonderful World (1979-1981), Walt Disney (1981-1983), The Disney Sunday Movie (1986-1988), The Magical World of Disney (1988-1990...The Disney Channel 1991-1997) and The Wonderful World of Disney (1997-2003). There are many variations of title sequences through the years and I chose the ones that best represent their respective eras. Disney television has been such a "joy and source of inspiration" to me over the years and I'm glad to share this wonderful genre of Disney with all of you!

So fun to see all of them together! Thank you for doing that! 👏😃 Though I think the 'Wonderful World of Color' one is the best of course 😊 #memories (Makes me wonder how many new color TVs were sold once the color version of the show started. 🤣)

Pitajis knowledge of literature is absolutely tops I should know because I am major in English literature, know the same a well read man and who knew his craft imagination so well translated in his work

Two tweaks to make. You have the shortened version if the 81-83 title. There's a longer version with more characters I've seen online. Also, around 1986 there was a PBS version that featured new animation of Mickey through the years and for each of the 4 lands there was a shower of film scenes and sometimes there was animated version of scenes that became ive action. The ones I remember are Pollyanna and Davy Crockett. If you had these two openings it would be pretty much complete.

You forgot the intro from 1990 to about 1996 that features Mickey at an animator's desk (the music is a medley of "When You Wish Upon a Star" and "Part of Your World"). On NBC and ABC, it was known as "A Disney Special", while CBS originally called it "The Wonderful World of Disney". There was also something called "Disney Family Films" that was set in a neighborhood and used "A Whole New World".

I didn’t forget it. It’s not part of the official anthology. In my eyes, the anthology really stopped in 1983. But I included what is officially accepted as anthology in this video. Also, all the years are covered, and I state that not each individual opening variation is included. Hope you enjoy the collage despite not being up to your critical standards.

@keepingwaltindisney You must correct your listing, then. The Wonderful World of Disney, as it is now, started in 1997. Not 1991.

One variation of the 69/79 era was this one, shown (and dubbed) in Brazil, where the show was called Disneylândia. I think it was the only one used at the time, and the one I'm more familiar with: this particular show is probably from 1975, but I remember this opening from 1979. I love your channel so much. And all these old videos are amazing, but I'm curious how RU-vid allows you to post them. I tried to post a short bugs bunny cartoon and I got flagged before it even went up. How's that work for you?

I’m very careful about not posting content that you can purchase directly from Disney or view on Disney+. I’m very familiar with everything Disney has produced for the big and small screen (at least prior to 1984)…and this familiarity has come in handy while uploading content!
