This is the reason I don't take Fane along anymore. This man is so damn happy just being a ghost and way happier not being burdened with revelations about his past.
I love the Red Prince, and him, saying that he is now the Prince of Darkness, and will finally find his victory through death......Breaks my heart. The once proud, knowledgeable and beautiful Prince, now is only but a dry husk of his former glory.
Nah, while she isn't mean Or evil, I always found her rather selfish and self centered. Her way of handling the souls adramahlik possessed is evidence to that
@@sharangcool Well, what was the alternative? Leaving all the people that are haunted by the demon suffer and even allowing for him to keep going on? Sometimes, there is no clear answer and both sides are a tough choice, she didn't only do it to save herself but all the other that would suffer also. And she even has doubts and regrets afterwards, I think that this is a situation nobody wants to be in.
@@DieEineMieze agreed, but she is a godwoken aspiring to be a divine, she has to better than that, she needs to be a hero. If you play as Lohse, you can choose to not release the souls and fight Adrahmalik at his full power, while the fight is harder, he is still not that hard to beat, and once you destroy him, the souls are released to the hall of echos. Even after my character having romanced her and telling her not to do it, she did it anyway. I get that about her character, but its a shame she doesnt grow that much as a character as compared to Ifan, Sebille or Fane (especially Sebille)
@@sharangcool 🤔 that's a good point, her character development is adramahlihk this, adramahlihk that. While I get the point the developers tried to make, she feels very boring considered to other companions. I don't see her fit to access to godhood, especially after that decision, she just doesn't have what it takes to be one. Not considering you didn't defeat the demon and she ascends. But the whole game is like that at most points, there is no clear answer for every decision you make. I did romance Lohse but changed the course to Sebille because of that point, she was always the same. Sebille became so nice after freeing her and romancing her but Lohse felt like a kitten who lost her mother and needed parenting throughout the whole game
Yaaay! Thank you so much! You saved me from having to do a Fane-less playthrough. I have been looking for this for over a week. When I got to this point in the game and saw the other companions I wanted to know what Fane said so bad, but he's kind of essential for so many things (and I like his character a lot) I was dreading doing a play without him.
He is not essential, I never used him, searched on RU-vid what hr provides, and actually even without having him in the party you can learn everything about his story.
To this day I dont understand why they all are so pissed with mc when you meet them again. Like, you died bc (spoiler), it was not me who abandoned you, what was I supposed to do??? I actually worked my butt off trying to help everyone
It makes even less sense since if you leave them to their deaths on the tutorial ship they all act really understandable and don't blame you for it at all. Their deaths make no sense from a story standpoint. They even act like this even if you never met them which is even more ridiculous. But even after all that this is one my favorite scenes in the game. I wish it was implemented better.
Well, it kinda is. I mean, the game limits you companions to 3 guys, but in game, it doesn't exactly make sense. They blame you for dying and making a pact with the Godking. I really like this twist, the companions you didn't choose will become twisted at go the dark path without your influence as a Player.
@@Burak_C maybe It's more like they are jealous of you. You killed or helped some famous and strong people, helped different factions and are infamous in some now. They should know of you, even if you never really talked or met them. And what have they done until this point? Died and become slave to the Godking (even funnier if you killed the sallow man before meeting them, like showing them how strong you are.)
@@DieEineMieze What is more fun, you can even absorb their Source while on the ship (using either the helm or the rod), literally killing their souls. And they'll still come back. Makes you question if your soul even matters that much to a Godwoken status or a Source-attunement is a purely physical thing.
@@Folemaet that's weird, maybe it is just some sort of bug or something. They would be the only souls you can't consume if I am right. But maybe god woken souls can't be consumed, there are 4 hero graves at reapers coast with former godwoken, which are dead, but undead so they still attack you? Maybe you can't enter the hall of echoes this easily as the new godwoken, as the gods won't allow it, they are scum anyways and you have to fight you own god after this scene anyways. I never consumed one single soul until now, I am currently in Arx. The fate of consumed souls is pretty much limbo, even if I considered for my little Sebille to let her consume the shadows prince soul.
@@orinocointf2 no, not lohse :(. You can hear it from her tone, is more like revenge and since she is the most innocent, she would never even thought about making a pact with the godking while still alive
@@DieEineMieze Talking more about after that, how only Ifan disappears into the afterlife, his spirit disappearing from the ship. Her dialogue there implies that she can't leave to the afterlife thanks to the demonic hold on her, that she would depart to the afterlife but is unable to
They can only resist the song if someone else also sings it. You can "give" Sebille as a gift to the shadow prince if you are Red Prince and she cannot resist him at all. She basically becomes a silent monk if you do this.
Most of them should work as usual. Game checks tags for a lot of quests. Such as Red prince tag is the trigger for nearly all of the red prince quests, so it should be fine I think? However main story might get a bit affected. In act 3 these guys might not show up or some of them show up depending on the party slots used. There are a few clashes with party member storyline such as Roost. But you can always talk to their spirit if someone is dead to trigger the stories. Also act 3 and 4 ending has a few voting by party member segments so they might broke. So in theory it should be fine. Have not tested it though. Hope it helps.
I believe sworn means you cannot skip the first part of the fight here with lucian and co. But i believe second part skip with Braccus persuasion should still work. Though i never tried this so im not sure. Edit: Sorry i got confused with the final boss skip. Being sworn changes nothing in this scene i believe. In fact i believe being sworn doesnt make you alies with any of the god kings servants for some reason. Which is a big letdown. Story reason seems to be everyone fights for his favor and god king supposedly enjoys watching them fight for his favor and whatnot. I wish being sworn was implemented better but alas.
I haven't tried but i dont think it changes anything sadly. These conversations are weird and always assumes you met them. They say the exact same lines even if you haven't met them throughout the game which is really weird. And always blame you for their deaths even if you didn't do anything or even met them.
Oh thats just a custom character I made to look like dallis. Her hair and face are available at character creation (I think its face and hair 2). As for the outfit its not exactly her outfit. Its standart magister inquisitor robe. Dallis normally wears a white version of it but that one is unobtainable.
It's the controller iu. It only appears if you play with a controller. I really like it too. There might be a mod that gives this iu with a keyboard too but im not too sure.
