Other practical tools to deal with your depression:
1. Say no when you want to. You don't have to attend every Diwali party. Play every card game.
2. Meditation and regular Me-time breaks.
3. Keeping the bigger intention in mind. What does Diwali mean to you?
When you're connected with what actually matters to you, you will less likely get carried away with negative emotions such as anger and disappointment.
