I agree! She does this a lot especially with her newer videos. She’s very adament on showing that not even the most experienced bakers are perfect. And teaches newer bakers to just keep trying and not be discouraged. She’s very inspirational

@@rathmiron Yeah, but I personally queried whether or not she already knew about it, and chose other methods for "gourmet" reasons? It strikes me it's possible this is a "cheat" method in the eyes of BA type pastry chefs? Who knows? Also, I think the next gourmet makes is gonna be pop tarts, but surely there'll be more chocolate later.

@@shestewa6581 if i'm not mistaken, in one of Ann's video, tempering chocolate using freeze dried cocoa butter like this, there will be white dots on the chocolate from that extra cocoa butter. that's why she doesn't use it often. Ann usually melts the chocolate using microwave and stir it every 30 seconds until it melts.

@@NicoleBe not sure how it is in Italy but in Australia in our grocery stores we have an small section for "international stock" or "imported goods" Where we can buy stuff like Dr pepper.. wish is amazing because in Australia we could buy it like a normal can of coke but they stopped years ago.. Expect things to be expensive though because it's imported :))

@@Ruzovy_ In italy we don't have this. generally only big supermarkets sell "imported goods" but we don't have an "imported goods section", usually imported things are with regular things (?), for example you can find grape fanta in the drink isle or strawberry oreos in the cookie isle

Aero and Flake was always my favourite chocolate as a kid, my mum wouldn't let me buy them because they had less chocolate in them than solid bars and therefore weren't good value 🤣

Ann, I think youve just broke physics... placing dense liquids into vacuum chambers is a common technique to degass things like liquid rubber for mold casting... how did you manage to create bubbles instead of removing them? lol... :)

hmmmm, good question. I know that if you put something under extremely high pressure then it will remove the gas. I think these little food containers aren't strong enough to take it to the next level :)

Kate Dog the dry ice turns into air and is safe to consume in that state, as a solid though it's too cold and will cause burns

My favourite band is Little Mix! I love them so much! I queued 3 hours in London after getting an hour train from Coventry to go to their book (Our World) signing. I'm also going to see them live in Birmingham for their Glory Days Tour! 😊😻💖

This is so cool! Here in the U.K. we used to have white chocolate aero bars with the white chocolate in the middle and they disappeared (I guess they were limited edition) and I’ve grieved for them for years. Now imma whip up my own.

Ann, I love you so much. I've taken so much of your advice to heart for baking and it's stepped my game up phenomenally. I can actually use baked goods as gifts now. I wish I lived in Australia so I could have gone to your meet and greet. Hopefully there will be one when I come visit my stepmum and dad next year. I would love to meet you!

I also see Tam Tam's more and more but Target has the biggest variety. They have my favorite Tam Tam, mint. No vegemite here but I just don't think us Americans will ever aquire that taste! 😄
