I’ve searched for ages for these - found you at last ! When I was a child in Wales the used to sell them round the door the proceeds went to the blind. My granny always bought one for me as well as dusters etc. I think the sellers were blind themselves. The only difference was the cloths were arranged around a wooden spoon and a small triangle of fabric was arranged around the “ head” like a scarf . I love the angels and have subscribed to your channel xx

The poem and the towels can be tweeked a little for you friend or family that doesnt spend much time in the kitchen. A loofa(how ever you spell it) cloth for the wings a hand towel for the body and head and a washcloth. For the arms. Thanks Jerri-Ann you have got my mind swirling with ideas. !!! God Bless!

My gram taught me how to make these years ago. She also taught me how to take two dishcloths and make pants with them. There was a saying that said something about undoing my stitches so you can use my britches. Was so cute...

This is a perfect Christmas project for the Seniors at our center! Thank you SO much for this video! I might mention you're one of our crafting angels. We watch you on a laptop as we follow along on crafting days. If you manage to track down the poems that go with these, could you please share with us? This is going to be a hit with the guys and gals! I can tell already! You'd be amazed how many of the men have gotten involved in the crafting. It's so cute to watch as they try to finagle things like tying little bows with their big fingers! We usually trade off doing the more intricate bits if they'll spray paint, sand, etc other stuff we need. We just did your mason jar farmhouse ornaments. What a hit those were! Holy cow. We had the seniors bring in bits of leftovers from old Christmas decorations to use. Their projects were amazing! Thank you again for sharing your talents & creativity with us. You most certainly are our year round crafting angel.
