DIY Garden Project Ideas, Easy Sew Apron, Clay labels and a Mini Greenhouse 

Dainty: paints, sands, gardens, power washes, cleans...in beautiful tea dresses...not a flippin' mark on them Me: old joggers, old tee shirt...absolutely FILTHY within 20 minutes !!! 😂 love your videos, great projects. 😍

I LOVE these videos! What gorgeous makes 💖 Top tip for turning ‘fabric tubes’ (like the apron waistband): For large tubes, pin a medium/large safety pin onto one fabric sides, about 2cm from the top edge. Roll up the fabric from the inside (like putting on tights!) grab the pin from the inside and pull it through - the pin will pull the fabric through the channel as it goes. Another quick technique, is to push a slightly narrower pipe (such as cardboard inner tube from wrapping paper or foil) into the tube, a short distance from the top, and using a stick, push the fabric from the top through the pipe. This works really well for short, narrow tubes (which are especially fiddly to turn out) using a drinking straw and the blunt end of a kebab stick or knitting needle. The little glass cabinet would look nice in your bathroom to place toiletries and towels. It would also look good in your guest room, it's a very versatile piece of furniture. So cute!

Hey there from Texas, I just wanted to tell you, you’re the highlight to most of my days. My mother passed away recently, (not virus related) and seeing a new video from you brings a big ol smile to my face. You’ve inspired me with all your gardening, so I’ve spent a lot of time working in my yard, trying to honor my mother. 🌷🌷🌷 Your creativity, genuine-ness, and positivity are delightful!!! My favorite videos recently, were the ones where you decided to bake, and had to improvise. I giggled and giggled, when you pulled out the pint glass, then used the Guinness bottle (like in this video) to roll out your dough. ☺️☺️☺️ I loved it sooo much that I shared those videos with my niece who lives in England and her husband (who’s mother is from county Cork, btw) they thought you were cheeky and brilliant... 😉😉😉 Watching you pour a proper pint, then explaining the proper way to drink Guinness, that you need to stick your lip in through the *suds* to get to the black... Was just too cute. I’ve never heard the *head* referred to as suds. I kept imagining soap suds. ☺️☺️☺️ My son discovered a drink, named “Irish Beer Shake,” at a restaurant called “Red Robin” It’s Guinness (from the tap not a can 😉) Irish Whiskey and Hershey’s chocolate syrup poured over vanilla ice cream, blended together like a Coke Float. Have you ever tried mixing beer/stout and ice cream together, for that matter have you ever tried a Coke (Coca Cola) Float before??? Well anyway, Thank you for sharing sooo much of your life with us, your crafts, sewing projects, diys, and gardening, it’s all lovely to see the end result to your day or projects, especially the excitement you have over *successfully* baking scones and chocolate chip cookies, or as y’all (southern for you all all) call them, biscuits. 💟💟💟 One last thing, I really can’t wait for you to be able to spend time with your family and friends, and for you to be able to get a tasty pint at your pub. Loved all the goodies great job.........stay safe,,,,,,we are all house bound only been out on March 9th sadly to say bye to our little Jake he was a Sihi Tzu a rescue he was 15 years. I know out time was short with him 5 years but he made a large impact on our lives. My other 2 fur babies are missing him a lot. So we are working on getting them through this all. Take care of your self and wear a mask if you need to be outside it will help protect you and use lots of sanitizer. As for me I 'm making masks for our First Responder's they are all washable doing some knitting etc. ..........and checking Pintrest...........God bless stay safe and thanks for sharing.

I started with my front door...I painted light blue, and next I will be painting an old tv cabinet. I planted marigolds in one of my gardens today, since it was a nice day. Hi Catherine, My mom was a seamstress and always sewed her aprons just like you. You brought back many beautiful memories. I enjoyed watching you sew this. A hint from my mom for turning the the waistband inside out after seeing is using a dowel or long stick even a ruler to help you do this. Works every time to make this task easier.

B&Q reopened in UK 2 weeks ok 😳not been yet but pictures of queues to get in the car parks were crazy . I'm in Uk and have no intention of going out only for shopping when really needed. Due to health I've not be able to work for just over 10 years and this is the first time I've been great full not to have to go out , I use to feel guilty for not being well enough to go out or work. Catherine, I'm loving these diys. Your a whizz at the sewing machine, zipping through the darling material. Gardening apron is so cute and user friendly. I especially love the cabinet you transformed. I have this exact cabinet but in brown and used it as a curio cabinet. It's packed away but I'm getting it out and repainting in white. Love the video. The mini green house is to die for. Good luck with the seeds. I forget which flower cutters i have so i have to ask all the time. Lucky for me my house joins onto my parents and my mum is an awesome gardener. With regards to the lock down lifting, Just because things are opening doesn't mean you have to leave your house. If you do go out wear a mask. We are doing that here in South west France. We are in the last week of week 9. My 8 year old has not left our ground in 9 weeks. Common sense over anything right now. What a darling apron!🌹Cute herb labels. I'm more of a popsicle stick girl 😊. I'm surprised you didn't take sides and back off your little greenhouse and replace with glass but .. perhaps because your stores are closed. Our hardware stores are open, but not the restaurants, bars, etc.. and concerts are all cancelled. It is what it is and all I do is add this virus and what that entails into my daily prayers. Love the apron! I have to have a waist apron for work and could do with some new ones, so I think I may be making yours! Love the cabinet too! May be worth making some shelf liners for it, so that they are easier to keep clean. Plus it may add a splash of colour. I'm in the UK. you do the greatest job at staging your stuff! loved the mini greenhouse! I will have to be on the lookout for something similar! we put our plants out last weekend and then we got a cold snap. I didn't think it was that cold, but my aloe did not appreciate it! so I brought it back inside to nurse it! missouri is opening back up. I personally think it is to soon, but I know that people need to get back to work. it is a personal decision if you want to go out and shop so if you, personally don't think it is safe yet, then don't do it! just use common sense! thanks for the video it is as always like a breath of fresh air! xoxo

I really like how you made those potting steaks. That apron is very nice a handy way to have your tools with you.The potting cupboard is gorgeous. I wish my yard wasn't so ratty. My yard is a new-build , before my house was put here people dumped a lot of broken glass and other things. It has yard absolutely horrendous I work all the time to get it cleaned. Catherine my garden is in but yes sometimes I forget to label where my plants are. Really cute ideas. Our fabric stores are completely out of fabric. 😳 You are so funny ...can't wait to get to the hardware store...🤣 😂 I can't wait to go into the antique stores...and Home Goods stores myself. Cute tent for Blondie..so sweet. We are almost there. Our restaurants are starting to open and more stores everyday. Fantastic Catherine, love your videos, watch them all. To make turning apron straps inside out easier, try attaching a large safety pin to the closed end and push through, this gives you something solid to grip on to (hope I've explained ok)
