Today we finished up the outside of the shed, before moving inside to insulate the ceiling, ply line and carpet it and fit an amazing hex light.

In 1986 i spent the weekend with the Hawaiian punch funny car team. The pit was rough worn asphalt. I said. Roland go to the lumber yard tomorrow and get 4 sheets of oiled masonite to put under the car. It could be stored under the car in the trailer if one breaks its available across the country. I always wondered if i had started a trend. Seems i had. I love your product. I was thinking of ripping up the carpet in my apartment in hollywood ca. Instead of laminate. I want your panels.

Thanks David, I will always stand up for mental health awareness, and advocate for others, in this day and age we should all make a positive impact and not try to put others down. I’m not afraid to stand up against bullying and toxic behaviour, even if it is against a well know RU-vidr!

That floor is fab! Like a giant jigsaw puzzle, but so much easier to put together since all the pieces are uniform. I think you two will really enjoy working and creating in your new bespoke shed. I love how you reused the window and carpet from your camper van business. Very economical. Looking forward to the walls and organizing/storage for all your tools & bits n' bobs.

It was amazing to watch how much brighter the room got as you put each board on the ceiling. I hope the lighting works you should be able to see you very well Great choice on the floor too. This makes me smile. We had very noisy neighbours in the house next door that adjoins our house. So on the party wall we built an internal 112mm sound deadening wall upstairs and down having spent over £1000 and plus redecorating only for the neighbour to move out as soon as the job was finished. I wasn't sure whether to laugh, cry or cheer, but it does work and it's now future proofed again noise. You wouldn't be planning for this to be a party room once Sarinder is finished by any chance ?🤣😂

Looks awesome. Walls.... peg boards and french cleats. Peg boards for hanging stuff and French cleats for holding drill bit racks, tool holders and a host of other things. If you never heard of them just search RU-vid. The possibilities are endless. Oh ad benches.

Your shed is better than my workshop. I use 30watt external flood lights for my workshop, 6 of them. And I still don't have enough light. Mind you I am getting a workshop upgrade soon.

The interesting part is how you're going to go from the stuff in your current workshop and fitting into this workshop. It'll be like putting 10 pounds of stuff in a 5 pound bag but I'm sure you have it all sorted out.

I used a lot of 'Rattle Cans' for touch up work on auto interiors and my finger would start to cramp up after a few minutes, so I picked up a 'Comfort Spray Grip Accessory', it turns your aerosol spray can into a spray gun and gets your fingers away from the paint stream... Might also help to build a 'Filter Box' with an exhaust fan, up in a corner, so you don't have to take everything outside to do a spray up! Would also be a good spot for a small 'Paint Spray' enclosure. I found the big furnace filters, when doubled up, will catch all the over-spray, and they're cheap and readily available... And don't forget your pads, your knees will thank you in years to come! ⚓🙊🥽

Celotex is ok. You can even cut it with a saw. Rockwool is not too bad. Glass fibre - OMG hate that stuff.

Great video you two.but without wanting too piss on your parade but you created a cold roof! If you put the insulation between the joists the celutex should sit flush with the underside of the joists,leaving a 50mm air gap between the insulation and roof decking allowing air to circulate and drilling the joist in the middle to let air flow across the ceiling from soffit to soffit.if you run a heater in there you will create a lot of condensation and wood will rot in no time at all.not criticising but I know you like to do things right.

Great Job guys. Can I make a suggestion regarding the door hinges... Change the fixings from screws to coach bolts for security purposes. If someone wants to get in currently (know it is at home but you aren't always there) they only need a screwdriver!!!! Belt and braces use two nuts per bolt on the inside. Cool interior design, it will be a shame to use it as a workshop.

For security, I would pass some suitably sized coach bolts right through at least one on each side of each hinge and one either side of the hasp and staple. That will hinder any unscrupulous visitors from getting in quickly by just unscrewing the hasp and staple or , as what happened to us once, just unscrewing the hinges.
