I think the only word of caution I have for all RU-vid reviewers of this drone is that when we’re demoing it especially for those new drone pilots we have to ensure that were always keeping in mind safety and conveying that message to new drone pilots. Powerlines probably best for new pilots to stay away from them as much as possible as they won’t have the experience. Also visual line of sight yeah I get it we’re trying to see how well this performs for such a small drone however we have to also take into consideration that there’s going to be a lot of new people searching RU-vid and looking for tutorials and tips. We just wanna make sure that we’re always keeping safety and common sense number one. Cheers Love your videos keep up the great work.

Thank you, Billy, for your first look at the Mavic Mini 👍 always enjoy your videos Also I had noticed in most of the other videos they did not see the satellites where the battery information was thank you for clearing that up, I had asked someone on another channel about that when I had seen the numbers when they opened to check battery level but had just said they there was no satellite information available So a big thumbs up for that 👍👍👍 Also I assume that compass calibration is the same as the other Mavics. As always, great video 👍✨👍

Such a great little drone, hopefully the future updates will give us manual settings and active track.. Man it cracks me up, your rules are probably different to ours in the uk but Dam, flying out of Los, and o er power lines, near moving cranes, just a handful of DO NOTS..

Nice flight. I guess it would be good to remember that if you fly with the wind into the distance then you have to fly against the wind to come back. So don't go too far with the wind!

... I swear, I believe some people must just come to yt to complain, split hairs, point fingers and when you search their channel, their is little to nothing there. If you are such an expert, post your own reviews and videos. ... Nice video, and while the Mini's settings are very limited you can actually lock the exposure to stop it jumping around, it's right there next to the EV compensation...

Thanks very much Billy really enjoyed your first flight, It really went well the footage looks amazing. I saw a review from Potato Jet where him had problems with the Mini flying at high elevation I think 5000 foot in mountains, The drone would start dropping by it's self it did it 4 times and finally went down and they had to go find it. Have not heard any more on that have you heard if this problem? Thanks Again Billy keep up the great work

Pretty cool. I still fly my Mavic Pro , just bought 4 new batteries for it too . But that little mini would be perfect for the 1st time buyer wanting to test out the hobby to see if its something that truly interests them. Well done Billy . Looking forward to watching more.

I also have my Mavic Pro and it works perfectly fine, however for traveling when you also carrying camera gear and a gimbal, then the drone is too much additional weight, this solves that issue :) Still the image quality is not so good but then for the price and size, there is nothing better in the market

Nice video! The colors look pretty decent! It does look like you could use this professionally for small projects. Although it doesn't shoot raw, do you think you'd be able to tweek any of the exposure settings in Lightroom?

Sure, you can edit a JPEG in Lightroom. You obviously don't have the data to work with that RAW saves, but small "tweeks" can still be made. My bigger concern is that at just 12 MP cropping would be very minimal, so you'd better get the composition right the first time.
