I am planning to buy the Osmo Pocket for creating timelapse videos. So, considering that I will mount it on a tripod my doubt is: could the gimball create "micro-shake" when already fixed and stabilized on a tripod? It is the same reason and situation as when you have to disable the sensor stabilizer or the optic stabilizer to avoid "micro-shake" when you mount the camera on a tripod. Thank you very much for your help! 👍

I wish the DJI Osmo had a full frame camera. Wouldn't be as small then though which makes it super convenient.

What stand are you using? Tried out motionlapse and it was awesome. But using it with the phone connected gives more options which is what i prefer but i have no stand lol.

Great video and tips. However, found some flaws trying your tips. Setting iso 100 cuts the exposure down making video too dark, even with slow shutter speed settings to minimum. So putting Nd filters were not an option. Secondly, this pocket 2 does not allow 4k on any of the timelapse modes. Bit disappointment, as my phone camera does much better at night timelapse!

When shooting this with a DJI Osmo Mobile 2 and just your smartphone, do you need ND filters too?

On the box, I see 4K filters. Makes no difference if you film on 1080 ?

Why do you think it was steppy motion. Not smooth. I've seen other night timelapses that were smooth.
