DJI Phantom and Sony HDR-AS30v

***** I thought the footage looked good on your's. The standard camera on those Hubsans isn't too bad, but the one you fitted is definitely a lot better. I'm not brave enough to fly mine on full manual yet lol.

It's not too bad when it's a few metres away, and can remove the audio from the video with no problem too. We'll have to get them both in the air when you get your's (or equivalent), for some drone on drone action lol

I thought about it lol. The video is a lot clearer and has zero "jitter" in it's original format, but RU-vid encoding makes it look out of focus and not that steady :(

They aren't cheap. I had a moment of weakness when my bank increased my credit limit haha

hahahaha, they look great, be nice to be able to take a ride on it, maybe in 20 years mate, that might be happening, lol, im looking at a cheaper version now for my son , any ideas, on ones under £100 mate ?? whats the best in that price range ??

If you want to use it for video, the Phantom is the cheapest/best one for the job, but if it's just for flying the Hubsan drones are pretty good. Some have a small camera on, which gets reasonable images, but nothing fantastic. They retail for about £40 I think. They are tiny though, so hard to keep track of at any real distance. The Parrot drones are pretty decent too, but not sure if any come with a camera at less than £100.
