DLC Preview! 1st Special Forces Brigate- Steel Division 2 Men of Steel DLC 

Looking forward to this division a lot! Nº is short for number. So it's just "Commando number 4" etc, if it's easier to read it out loud that way.

I like the British officer cap. So excited for this division, british commandos and special forces are so cool.

According to Eugen's blog-post. Shock = more physical damage output within 100m (or close to that range). Commando = Shock + Raiders + Suppression resistance

The hype

'Seafire' was the name given to the navalised Spitfire variants that were designed for Carrier useage. Also, because either you missed this or someone else did and you're the one catching flak, the Fighter Seafire also has 2 more .303 Machine guns over the Recon Seafire, in addition to the increased Ammo. And yeah. Absolutely not a Division that wants to fight in the Open Ground. The response to heavy armour, given its scarcity of typical AT assets, would have to be one of: - Close range ambush with PIAT. - Mortar the fuck out of it. - Use an Airstrike. I posit that good play with 1st SSB would revolve around a combined arms approach of using the Air Force and Artillery to support the Infantry, and then using the Infantry and Artillery to deprive the enemy of an effective AA network. Could be interesting to watch, but... Well. Would not recommend to a beginner!

Complete lack of Flamers in the support tab means you have no option but to use actual infantry for that role, while it makes sense since this division is loaded on ostensibly awesome infantry, that is kinda lacking since a good chunk of your shit will be locked to bedfords, you're going to be giving up a lot of early game ground that you then have to ""re-gain"". So even if you think of your good early infantry as stand ins for flamers, consider that after the initial engagement with enemy vanguard units, you can expect a lot of them to have weaker strength or be scouted out. In that sense this is a really strong early pusher because it will guaranteed destroy the enemy in CQC since the layout means you can't proportionally face your enemy, you have to send heavier infantry into the start, I think this is going to catch a lot of players out because of that, since it will automatically win the opening shots. You might not even send flamers & AT rifles in front vs this division and just try to match the enemy commandos with infantry of your own (or maybe a cheeky tank)

No mention of the Dutch RAF fighters which should be in this division ?

note the c15ta is armoured and rm stands for royal marines. ALSO THE CAMO ON THE SHERMANS IS SUPER ATTRACTIVE. Note the 94mm is not the mark 42 variant so shit accuracy. Note artillery leader gives arty without radio, radio. ALSO 1SSB OFFMAP 127MM HAS 997 ROUNDS.

Those Commando Demo's have to much availability imo. I'm also curious why that 127mm off-map was 180 points. Is it a mistake or is there something special about it?
