My answer is no! It doesn't mean that you give better advice because you have a big beard. Looks can be deciveving. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think.

Always a good word LV. I've trimmed a lot of black guy's beards. Some guys love to say "hair is hair". Not true. I know white barbers who have no idea how to pick out a beard. Why? because a picked out beard is the true beard. And only then do you know what to shape and how to shape it. Good to see you hit the reset button. I've done it so many times. We always want what we don't have. When I was young, my beard was very curly. Then it went totally straight when it turned white. That was a trip and I hated it. And you'll see as you get grayer (looks good btw) your beard hair may actually relax a little. But beards change as we change and get older. Every five years you'll have a different beard. Good vid.

Whoa! I really appreciate your comments. Not only for the kind words but the continuous wisdom and knowledge that you share about men's grooming, specifically with growing a beard. Side note: I don't always drink coffee but often times, I think about stirring the cream and sugar in my coffee with chopsticks 😀. Big salute to you and continued success with the teachings on your channel!

Another thing I learned during this journey is play around and have fun with it. I was thinking of doing the same thing, trimming my beard all the way down but one thing I never even considered, and that was creating a jawline! Having that nice angle to my beard has given me a look that I like. I did trim it much lower than normal so now I have grow it back out some but its just little things like that keep’s me motivated.

I hear you about plying around with it and having fun BUT it's a no for me! This is serious business 🤣🤣🤣. You're right though, the details needs to be more sharp because there is no hair to hide behind.

When I first started my beard journey I was watching EVERYONE, then I cut it down to you, Bthebarber, D Hyde and Beard existence, then I ran across Dan C Bearded who doesn’t look like me and he gave me probably the best advice that has my beard looking the healthiest it’s ever been.

Ever think about adding text to your thumbnail like “growing it out again” or something like that so that people would click on the video?
@lumpvision5746
@lumpvision5746 Год назад
Yes! In all honesty, I've simply been lazy over the last few years. I used to create decent thumbnails. Nothing spectacular but definitely more click worthy. I also didn't have a watermark because I paid for the editing app that I use. The price went up CRAZY and I chose not to pay. I really like the app and I want to continue to use it so eventually I'll pay for it and do the things that I used to do for better content BUT still keep it simple. I'm not out to look like a professional. I just want to deliver the best information that I can using my experiences.

I ain't mad at that. Needless to say I WAS like that until I ran across George Bruno's channel. When I found out that he is a stylist who has dealt with many different hair types, I became more and more comfortable with opening my ears to listen to people who do not look me. I still mainly listened to people who look like me because it made sense to me but my ears were definitely still open. Side note: invade an Iraqi barber for many years. I don't see him that often because I moved but he had me looking SHARP!

I’m biracial and could only find white guys (no hate or discrimination) and so I would follow what they said. But I didn’t really like the way my beard looked even though I would get compliments. Then I found BTheBarber and got a pick. So to make a long story short. It was beard shrinkage that made me no like my beard.
