Do different Raft Bases impact speed? Stranded Deep

In this video we see if the type of Raft Base used to build a raft in Stranded deep makes any difference to speed. Do Barrel bases make the raft slower than wood bases? Im going to do a few tests like this to see what is the fastest boat in Stranded Deep, or what is the fastest vehicle, trying out lots of different combinations.

Carry capacity for transporting kills, cargo crate walls, etc would make more sense.

Very good, Sr, good video, this time if the factors of your experiment were better controlled: time of day, starting point, place of arrival, size of the raft, number of sails... all the factors were the same. So it is concluded that the different bases of the raft do not affect their speed, it seems that the different bases is rather a matter of esthetics of the game, for different tastes. Personally I prefer tires, although it is already known that with another material it would be the same speed. Right now I'm with subnautica but I don't abandon stranded deep even though I already know it by heart 😊😊... stranded is much more real than any survival game I've ever played 🤗🤗🤗.....kiss sir, keep uploading videos of stranded, Stay alive!! !!

@@KevLarGaming No sr, i love stranded more than any survival game but it's much easier than subnautica. I chose subnautica because i ve already stranded 4 times in normal mode, once in hard mode and... I already know it by heart. In stranded you get everything you need on each island (food, wood, stones etc) that is, everything is in sight the furthest is around each island in the sunken ships, it is only a little diving and taking it and also, how plus, you have convincing weapons to defend to sharks from the start. In subnautica things go much further, it is a complete planet full of caves, chambers, old rocket shipwrecks, destroyed lifepods, floating islands and as if all this were not enough, a precursor alien civilization that is the one that carries the thread of the game . As a crown stone here there are no convincing weapons to shake off the dozens of leviathans, giant octopuses and benders that are at every step. I don't know if I'm making the famous spoiler by saying this. Subnautica is...complicated, Sr...complicated. But it is a challenge and i love challenges like that. I think I have clarified your question. I don't consider stranded to be obsolete for the one reason that it's been a few years. That Island you show in the background. That structure.... did you make that???? On PC, I guess, as more islands means more materials, right? I saw a video that said that different barrel bases give different boyancy. I'm wanting to make a transport raft to go collect my container bits and would be very interested if you can make one of each bases with floors and then see how they hold up under the weight of 1-2-3 container sides. I think that video showed that barrels were the least bouyant, or stuck furthest down, so caught easier on underwater stuff. That could be another video. 😀

Yeah that was my lighthouse base, I had cleared alot of the islands to get resources for that (and yes on PC so more islands for resources). My first ever vid on my channel is a bit of a tour of that lighthouse base.
