The dad who keeps saying things are bussin is awesome dad vibes. I love it. I will say tho, it seems like their 1-10 scale is weighted heavily on the high end and you can tell because they will say its not that good and still give it a 6,7, or 8. I know they are just being super polite. There is so much amazing mexican food out there. Good vid tho!!

I like Chipotle, but I really think it needs to stop branding itself as "Chipotle Mexican Grill." It was created by a white guy from Indiana. There's no shame in branding Chipotle as Mexican fusion or inspired. Panda Express already does it, they're branded as American Chinese food. Edit: Y'all are out here taking this comment way too seriously! They ask the Papahs if they think Chipotle is real Mexican food, and I'm the one y'all get mad at when I add on? 🤷‍♀️

When he said burritos were from the north, i thin he meant northern Mexico more than the US. Burritos are relatively popular in Chihuahua and Sinaloa. They're not the same as this style but they're burritos nonetheless

I love this series! Keep it up! If you have a Qdoba near by you could do a similar one but make sure to include the spicy queso as well as their tortilla soup if it's offered there.

Chipotle is good nothing special i rather go to a authentic mexican place plus it's over price for what they serve

Burritos were created in México and they are very common in the northwest part of México. We just don't super size everything like gringos. Burritos are usually smaller and typical on any city from this region.

I live in Mexico and I have to agree with most of the "Papahs" opinions. I can say you will definitely get the spice and flavor of anything you eat in Mexico😁

The most annoying thing is that you have to pay extra for guacamole at chipotle. But at qdoba, which is similar to chipotle, it doesn’t cost extra.

I like Chipotle. But personally, I prefer Moe's or Qdoba.

Chipotle burritos seem to be based on the mission style burritos from Pancho Villa taqueria in the San Francisco mission district. It used to be a local thing. Cheap and tasty, and filled you up for the day.

The subtitles were wrong in one instance. When he said "norte" he meant Northern Mexico, not the US. Burritos are big in Chihuahua and Sonora, but not Southern Mexico.

we dont even eat burritos in mexico and most of the time we if we do eat them theyre small sized ones that you can eat like 5 of them. very simple.

My friends tell me not to think of it as Mexican food but as a health food. After that I can deal with it. Before that If i had the choice between Mexican and Chipotle I never chose Chipotle. But if I choose between a Salad or Subway I choose Chipotle

Burritos are common in Mexico and always have been but they originated in the north part (chihuahua Mexico) so maybe that’s why they weren’t as familiar with them. But in chihuahua it’s always been a thing.

People please support the real deal humble Mexican that make this food.

here in Switzerland, we make tex-mex sometimes at home and it is not authentic Mexican... but that is not the point, Tex-Mex is an American an international adaptation of Mexican food, just like what happens with Italian food, or Chinese food,it is inspired... we put our own local cheeses in the burritos, own homemade sauces, etc... never buy the packaged sauces or guacamole mixes... better make your own.

you should tell them the price of each item and then ask if they would order it for that price tag.

I'm Mexican and have had Chipotle twice in my life. The first time because it was a new thing and I had to try it. The second time was about 20 years later. Let's just say it'll be about another 20 years before I want to try it again.

As a Mexican, I personally love Chipotle😂. With that said, I never get anything but the bowl. And if I want Mexican food I don’t go to chipotle. I know hella Mexicans who go there all the time (I’m from California). The only Mexicans who go hard against it are the prissy ones. It may not be authentic(who cares) but it’s quality ingredients and better than a traditional fast food like McDonald’s or Taco Bell

As a restaurant manager who does food courier stuff on the side, in my portion of the country Chipotle absolutely sucks. Yet they stay busy. I cannot comprehend it. As a courier I picked up what was well over a $150 catering order from one of their restaurants yesterday and while I was there watched the same people stand in line and never leave that line the entire time I was there. I am convinced that the average american does not care what they eat as long as it is given to them by a brand they recognize. The average american who doesn't work in the food industry then won't even recognize terrible restaurant practice. They just want their taco bell/mcdonalds/chipotle whatever just like they ordered last time. Bottom line: CHIPOTLE FUCKING SUCKS. But most ppl don't care because they don't know any better.

i am not a mexican dad... but i think their scores are legit. They should ask more people. I think their quesadillas are actually quite good. The burritos can be pretty decent, however huge . Their chips and salsa are still imo the best thing for me in the menu, simple , amazing quality. I have tried bowls once, burritos once and quesadillas twice. The winner for me has always been the nacho chips and tomatoe sauce. Second close for me are the quesadillas but I would probably eat 3 serving. lol

Ive lived in Mexico and visited many parts. Chipotle burritos are better than the majority of burritos over there. Imagine ordering a beef burrito and they are so cheap that it's 75% fat and gristle.

Chipotle is fine, but I think they cater too much to the mass market and the food isn't flavorful enough. You can add different salsas to make it everything better, but it's not the same as if it was cooked with those spices, herbs, lemon, etc.
