I’ve been trying to watch all the great comedians throughout history. Norm is one of the only ones I can watch over and over again. I think most of his stuff can be better in the second or third time. I start laughing at the setup, and just don’t stop.
I LOVE Adam's reaction at 0:28 He knew exactly how to play the scapegoat sure but then this is just the perfect example of how effortless he was here and how perfectly his little bits fit into the whole joke. They had to have at some point discussed this at length right? Like, anyway I'll just start rambling now so I'll leave it at that.
@@arlencarroll1964 Not to mention Norm had several shows on major network and cable TV. He was one of the greatest but people love to mythologize beyond reason.
@@arlencarroll1964 dood jumped on the world's biggest a lot of things to trash them while being on them. (SNL, Espys, media correspondence dinner, celebrity roast, RU-vid awards show, his own podcast etc.) It's not hypocrisy when he wasn't the major monetary beneficiary from the draw of those shows. The corporate ceos of the networks he was on benefited from him trashing them.
Norm McDonald made me laugh like he was put on this earth to make me do so. I love this man almost as much as i love Chris Farley. God bless them both.
Laughing at dead people is one of the purest forms of comedy. I’ll never forget when I made a joke about my dead grandmother in 1st grade and me and my best friend laughed so hard and for so long that I knew at that moment I’ll always laugh at dead people. Obituaries are fuckin historical
Here's what happens: Someone (almost always a Korean for some reason) downloads all the videos from a popular repost channel - in this case "I'm Not Norm" Then they add all the videos together in a compilation, and add a video of themselves doing something unrelated at the end to claim their video is commentary rather than reposts. Then they flood the original channel with reports to get them taken down so they have a monopoly on the material, and the guys who actually put the work in to finding and editing the original clips get banned. It's been happening for years on Howard Stern clips and a few other comedy shows I like. They're absolute scum, just remember not to like or follow and report this video when you're done watching it.
He’s not compiling clips, he’s just copying and posting them as fast as he can. I don’t think he even watches them or understands them…he leaves in the merch ads from the ‘Im Not Norm’ channel.
My major takeaway from this, because I already know that Norm is funny, is that Howard Stern was fucking terrible. All he wanted was for Norm to talk shit about someone. I don't understand why his show got so popular, typical shock jock. O&A was better because they would let the comics be funny, even if they brought up drama.
