Our solar system is careening around the galaxy in a corkscrew shape from the galactic perspective. If that's true, why don't we see the stars change position in the night sky?
I really pity, that without understanding the thinking behind astrology u comment on that. Believe me my friend, many people still believe that the earth is flat, seems u too are such a stubborn. My point is, if u don't understand it, don't comment on it, it diminishes ur credibility.
The assumption that 'the constellation has moved from position & hence do not influence human identity/personality' isn't correct, as it contradicts with the anchors previous statement, as the anchor previously stated that 'they do move but we donot notice' meaning their relative motion is so minute to record any significance change in their influence (if any influence, at all). I am not endorsing astrology, but this assumption is not the one which can negate it's influence.
Anyone having a basic clue about the Universe would know that stars and planets don't give a damn about all of us combined, and definitely not about individuals. Also, the most basic logic will tell you that dividing all human destinies into 12 and telling a 12th of the world's population that exactly the same kind of day or week is awaiting all 666 million people (on average) who happened to have been born between certain dates is absolute nonsense. No thinking human can believe in astrology.
I don’t believe in astrology, but it does account for the change in position of the stars relative to us over millennia- that’s why there are different “ages” like “age of Aquarius.”
For the last part, the Babylonians had pretty much the same night sky with the same constellations as we do, 4000 years is too little time for the night sky to change drastically
"pretty much" is not entirely accurate. Relative positions to other constellations as well as individual positions have shifted in 4,000 years. Some more than others. It takes, at minimum, around 10,000 years for stars and constellations to change positions enough to make a new star map for some star positions. We're about halfway there. That's enough to have shifted Astrology readings and interpretations from 4,000 years ago to today.
Precession takes about 2,000 years for one sign shift. It seems you were born with infinite potential you may have just limited yourself because of the beliefs of others.
Spoken as someone who doesn’t understand astrology. Sure, the average person who likes astrology assumes that what it means, that somehow the stars influence our personality. But really it’s just another form of pattern recognition of how human consciousness moves through time.
I've been into Astronomy since I was little. Loooooong time Sky Geek. I still depend on Star Charts (no, not 'those' star charts. real star charts from NASA, and other astronomy sources) to know where in the night sky (if I should be able to find a dark night, since our light pollution is ridiculous!) to look to find certain heavenly bodies at certain times of the year. This is because, as you said, stars move. When we got hit by Hurricane Hugo, power was out for weeks. The night sky was magnificent during those weeks. It was like looking up at night when I was a child. The stars looked like someone had tossed diamonds onto black velvet. It was the true representation of awesome. Now, when I go outside at night, it may as well be daytime (and I do not live in The Land of the Midnight Sun.) Light pollution really sucks! As to my feelings toward astrology, I usually take it as a lark. Purely as entertainment. Thanx muchly, Interstellar, for sharing your knowledge on all things 'sky' with me. Is nothing to sit outside and notice that the only thing that spins is, unless we spend the sunsets where it supposed to sit, the moon sits where it sits all the constellations sit where they sit, but you can notice that we spin if you sit outside and watch the moon come over the trees over a period of time. It doesn’t go straight above you it might depending on where you live at, but it will go sideways no matter what.
So how do we follow the north star and constellations as they're still at night? No way debating, im just curious. It's the only flaw in your hypothesis I've noticed. This is dope tho. There's so much we don't know and this is super interesting.
the best depiction of how stars move positions is the way the Pleiades have been shown in ancient depictions compared to as they currently appear in the night sky! or how we hear about "the age of aquarius" which is referring to the changing position of what constellation is above the morning sun* which changes over time! Aquarius is what is slowly Becoming the constellation thats is above the morning sun* it Was the age of pisces Prior to Aquarius!! 🤔🤨😁👍🏻
To give an analogy, think of driving on the highway. You're going really fast, and close objects, such as roadside objects ie. grass go by like a blur but further objects like buildings in the distance go by much slower and look more 'static'. Same thing's happening here. The Earth may be spinning fast but the stars are so far away they just look static. 1000mph may be fast but even at that speed it would take over 2.7 million years just to reach the closest star
Why don’t we see as many stars as we did when I was a child ? Every night, I only see two or three stars. Even with clear sky’s. It has been this way for the past ten years.
If the stars are moving and I agree they do and light is a thing traveling from them(skeptical) which takes millions/thousands of years to arrive (skeptical) then why don’t we see the stars as streaks and loops instead of points of light?

Look beyond the astrological sign ur born under.. we also go thru "ages" we are in aquarius I believe or sometime in the last 15 yrs might have moved to the next

Astrology is slapped in the face with any amount of critical thinking: just the idea that all of humanity has only 12 different destinies is ridiculous in itself, yet millions read daily horoscopes.
If the solar system moves like that if you fly to space with a rocket earth will leave you? If you fly out of earth and go betwee nthe earth and the moon, how come the earth does not move away from the rocket?

Duuuudde light is so slow. The devs should buff it idk. Or give me some better way of seeing things without these earthen eyes to see dude. Could there be something where you can see something faster because your new "eyes" dont process information by light molecules things or whatever idk? It's only the constellations of the ecliptic and it's viable because of string theory astrology might be a thing remember you are floating in suspended gravity at birth you're imprinted by the gravitational strings and that impression is astrology
So if it's true that the stars and constellations have nothing to do with our personality, how is that the summarization of my zodiac like 80-90% accurate? Genuinely asking. I'm actually not a person who has much interests in astrology. I don't read my horoscope or believe in all that stuff. But one thing I can say is that, as a cancer ♋ male, it's fairly accurate in describing the kind of person I tend to be.

If your model is correct then we would have different stars in the sky every single night not over the course of a lifetime and we wouldn't have the same constellations that we had thousands of years ago please somebody explain this shit to me… because obviously I've got it wrong🧐🤨😳😡
Idk if this is the help your looking for but maybe it’ll help you get to that help lol but I look at it like this in retrospect to anything and everything we as a species doesn’t know as much as we think/claim but here’s how I think about what your asking about… I look at it like our government … we have a town and that town is our solar system then we have a state which our town is in but doesn’t make is necessary the exact same as each and every other town is that state and that would be like galaxy… each solar system in that galaxy would be like our town in the state … imma use Tennessee as a example state… so there is like 90 something counties in the state so those are all the solar systems in the state now we have the country the state is in which has towns in it and the country would be our universe… so our solar system is spinning around our star and when we look out into the sky we see all the other stars which have solar systems spinning around them which makes up our galaxy then outside our galaxy you have x amount of other galaxies with solar systems spinning inside of them with in return has all the galaxies in the universe also spinning in some direction… so a lot of the solar systems in our galaxy we can see circling around… sorry for the lack of punctuation and grammar lol just smoked a bowl and fixing to go to bed so kinda a high explanation… or a try at one

How little ppl know.. i really think that when girls ask whats your sing, i say my is ( say main stars name in your constallation) and ask how she cant know what that is? Plus second question is obvious.. do your constellation ( starsing) really measure who you are even that you couldnt choose the month you were born in?( Ask your girl does her sing really say what she is in person) third question is to see how dumb she is.. hey do you know that stars move? (Sun moves around230 thousand kilometres in hour, so those constellations move same amount in hour too) ask What are stars? ( Sun is a star)
people who say astrology is real have no evidence to back it up, if astrology was real, why wasn't it a bigger part of society, why is this only a miniscule part of todays society, astrology is something that was born from the 3rd millennium BCE by the mesopotamians like the flat earth theory this concept only preys on the gullible

When in reality, what existed always exists without their approval. Indian astrology is VERY REAL, it is VERY COMPLICATED, and very ROBUST and ACCURATE. People may have forgotten how it works, but in the past, it was CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD and USED WISELY. Just because stupidity creeps in (in this stupidity era), it didn't change Astrology. It just shows that people on ego trip are now on stupidity trip. That's all.
What if Astrology gets proven right by science someday? Don't declare it has nothing to do with personality. Who dreamt of Quantum entanglement being true someday. It is now! Be open-minded!
I say bulshit there are no stars up there that you can see it's all theirs whatever they are no space I live out in the country where it's dark dark and he's to see the all the stars and the Milky Way and go to the mountains now you there aren't there no more they're gone
