Thank you and you're very welcome. Yes, on the Busa it uses brake fluid for the clutch as well. But like I mentioned in the vid some bikes may use hydraulic oil.

I meant comment on your kickstand video. I was gonna spend the stupid money on a Brock’s stand but with you posting one that you trusted the cheap option I ordered one. They send me an rear cowl! Messaged them and they told me to keep it and sent out the kickstand the next day. For $25 I can’t complain!

Great video. I'm guilty of not flushing brakes on my bikes, My 1st VStrom went 5 years. Is that factory paint on the Busa? Beautiful. I take good care of my 900's, but you go above and beyond. My garage in Idaho is either freeezin' or fryin'. Sometimes I get irritated and bring them in the house. Family isn't thrilled tho. thanks for the info.

@@MototalkUSA Try a Z900 someday. Mine is all black with the twilight blue accents. This thing in Sport mode moves. I had a '20 mt09 and this 4 banger will out pull it,. through the gears or top end. Super smooth and torquey. I took off in 4th gear at a stoplght for fun and it didn't even hiccup. Really quality build on this. Sorry i talk too much, but I love bikes.

Hi mate, great videos. A tip for you if you should require it. I have just found out that Japanese bikes use their own JIS drivers for the 'philips' head screws. The JIS design prevents cam out of the driver when loosening tight screws. That's when the driver comes out and twists up the screw head as it does so. With a normal Philips bit you have to really press down hard to prevent that as you know. So a little JIS set will set you back around 20 dollars with 3 sizes of bits and will save you a lot of hassle. Edit: there should be a JIS screwdriver in your bike's toolkit. 👍
@MototalkUSA
@MototalkUSA Год назад
Very well my man! One of the best tips someone gave to me💪 I didn't know this and I can't believe I didn't all these years 😅 thank you for mentioning this. I just researched the difference JIS vs Philips and yes there's one in my tool kit 😊 it's hard to know because they look so much alike, actually it's very hard to tell the difference. That solves the strippiness, but they still don't look like nice bolts, at least for me 😁 Many thanks for the tip and if it ever leads to that in a future video I'll definitely mention it 🙌🙌
@MototalkUSA
@MototalkUSA Год назад
Ps: I re-examined both Philips and JIS and if you look carefully on the Phillips the four edges have a taper on them where the JIS are just straight. Very good info again man! Thanks 👍👍

Hey Man love your channel. For info the reservoir screws aren't Philips, they're JIS ( Japan Industry Standard). Philips are designed to 'cam out' when you reach a certain torque to avoid over tightening. JIS will not do this allowing screws to be tightened as much as you dare. Get a set of JIS screwdrivers, they fit really tight. 🇬🇧

Brother I just bought a 2018 hayabusa with 13,000 kilometres in it. Right now when I start the bike, I head a rattle coming from the oil reservoir, on the right side of the fairing. Where you put oil in from, I think it’s the clutch plates or something. I’ve been reading online something as well as a backlash adjustment. Any help will be appreciated.
@MototalkUSA
@MototalkUSA Месяц назад
If it's not very loud and doesn't do it all the time I wouldn't worry, mine has a rattle there too when I first start it in the morning. If I pull the clutch in the noise goes away mostly. It almost sounds like a Ducati. I have the bike since new and it has 23,000 miles. I read other ppl in forums have this noise too.
