About guns being more consistant, it could be because i believe gaijin reduced their firing rate this patch (1300>1200) so they might actually be a little more accurate. But that's just a theory, a gaijin theory :)

@@Bobspineable it's not a better aircraft it's just a newer version, if china get the m2000 france will get the 2000C-5F which will be equal (should be a bit better than the chinese one but not by a lot).

@@Bobspineable It is not "supposed to be better". This is not the same variant : Taiwan use the Mirage 2000-5 which is superior to the Mirage 2000C. But if the Chinese get it, so does France. The logical step after the Mirage 2000C is the Mirage 2000-5 in the French TT. Then at this time, China could get one. But not without France, since it's a French plane. Do not confuse Mirage2000C S5 and Mirage 2000-5. The S5 is the 5th variant of the Mirage 2000C, while the Mirage 2000-5 is a total improvement of the Mirage 2000C, more missiles (up to 6 (or 8, not suure) powerful MICA), better avionics, systems etc... The things i'm waiting for now it's the Dauphin/Panther heli in the French TT, wich was given to China this update. (Z-9 comes from French heli)

Technically they top out quite fast, they just accelerate very slowly compared to the other SARHs we have in the game, so at th elaunch parameters that are normal in game (sub 10km range, low alt) they take longer than other missiles to reach their target

But yes I'm aware they take a while to accelerate however the amount of speed they have over everything else, especially at range, and especially at alt, where most the jousting happens, should easily be able to make up for the lack of acceleration. It's not nearly as slow as the 54 for example, which basically just sits stationary until it's going for like 15 seconds, especially at lower alt, it's much faster than other missiles. It's not going to hit its top speed down there but it's raw engine power and burn time should still make it one of if not the best SARH we have right now. I know it's not the same game, but just look at DCS, specifically the House of SARH competition. You can really see how much better the 530D is compared to missiles we don't even have yet (7M, 27R). Even now though it's still pretty good, I don't see a need for a buff. I'm just arguing this for the sake of it.

@@evangalinsky2499 Top speed and acceleration aren't the same so it's not exactly contradictory, but I get what you're saying and with that burn time it does definitely seem kind of slow if it is really supposed to be a fast missile.

@@_ace_defective_ granted this number is from 40k feet with the launching aircraft at Mach .99, but the 530D should be able to hit at least Mach 4, and some, but not all, sources even say as high as Mach 5, obviously only in very specific situations, however, the next closest thing to that performance is the 7F/M, 54, and then the R-33, used by the MiG-31 Foxhound. On the deck the 530D should be capable of Mach 2+ at the end of the rocket burn. Very, very fast missile. Right now it acts more like the 530F in flight performance. It's not the same but it's close, and they should be a bit more different, even though they are just different versions of the same missile, they're very different versions.

No, but its very easy to dodge the first few passes

Tomcat with flaps just had INSAE radius in the game, so in a "fair" (neutral position) merge the Mirage only barely wins the first turn, the 2nd is already neutral and after that its just L taking because the F14 with takeoffs and manual wings literally has prop plane turn radius. If you start behind anything in the mirage and you can aim, you kind ajust win though because you point your nose wherever.

@@DEFYN do you think gaijin will ever add the aiming reticles that these planes had? F-14 had moving reticle that tells you where to fire the gun at all times if you have a radar lock. Its not a direct buff to the damage, but the fuel explosion mechanic. If you black out someone's fuel tank (idk if there needs to be fuel in it or not yet) theres a 50% chance the whole plane explodes; and top tier jets are basically made out of fuel tanks. Any gun 25mm+ usually tends to black out fuel tanks with 1 hit, thats why the large caliber guns feel a bit better.

Harrier is more of a rat plane, because your flight performance objectively isnt all that competetive, but you got that insane acceleration, okay turn, thrust vector and the great guns and missiles so you can kinda clown people if they arent careful/ dont know what they're doing 100%.

530F’s use a pulse seeker, this means that the missile uses the radar for more of a reference of where to go but the seeker in the missiles will lock the biggest target on the scope, making it very prone to chaff
