I was told by the Staff of my local B&M that a single man bought the entire stock of Doctor Who figures right when the place first opened in the morning. I only came for a single Dalek set. This is unacceptable, scalping and excessive bulk-buying in this community needs to be addressed and both B&M and Character need to be held to account for it.
I don’t know what whoever wrote that box blurb is talking about when they say that pupils first appeared on Dalek eyes in ‘Power’. According to Dalek 63-88, the pupil first appeared on two Daleks in Episode Six of ‘Evil’.
I don't know about the pupils, but I do know the shorter eye stalks with the discs closer to the middle had started to creep in by 'Power'. Maybe it's talking about that. In that sense, the '70's sculpt would be the best choice from the ones they have available. Lovely set, the mutant scoop is an unexpected bonus, my first thought was that it would pair up great with the Resolution mutant, my mutant sits on the tardis console currently, so it would probably quite happily get scooped

I'm hoping to more to ask my parents to buy me some more History of The Dalek action figure sets because I'm an American citizen who has always been a HUGE fan of the Daleks because they're my Number 1# favorite Doctor Who Villains of all time! It's shame we don't get that many Doctor Who fans here in the United States because most people don't even know what Doctor Who is which is a shame.
@@jamieolberding7731 The "History" sets are awesome. I have sets 1-4 plus the "Jungles of Mechanus" set. (sets #5+#7 ordered last week) All well worth the $$$. Nice attention to detail, wonderful paint colors, and new part sculpts. Not to mention that many of these Daleks haven't been produced in years, or were very difficult to get.
@@kurtbarlow9402 I want to try and add some classic 70's era Dalek action figures too such as History of The Daleks Set #7 "Day of The Daleks" to my collection because I wanted another Supreme Dalek such as a Gold colored one. I already have my first Supreme Dalek, a black colored one that came with History of The Daleks Set #2 "Dalek Invasion of Earth".

Loving this set but also because 60s Daleks are my favourites. I too have a Resolution Dalek mutant sitting on the shelf so he’ll be happily at home in the sieve when I get my set.
I'm really liking the recent B&M and Character Online exclusives that have com out recently. This set is one very good example of exclusives done right.
I know this video is old but is it's possible to swap the scoop and the manipulater arm at the ball joint? Because I've been thinking about it and I really would prefer a normal Power drone with the 60s eyestalk/pupil
Great video! :) I love the 60's Daleks too, they are the originals and they are the best, followed by the black/grey Daleks [70's]. So is it true about the painted pupil?

@@jwentertainment2313 The official story is that they changed it up so as to avoid doing too many silver Daleks, but I'm not sure I buy that, since we've had silver Daleks for the past few years. Evil could've had a human-factor drone with a pupil eye (maybe with a Greek letter on) and an Emperor's Guard re-release, so it wasn't just drones.
Why couldn’t they have giving us a mutant for the scoop? They did it for the 3”, the Genesis pack had one, then the new Dalek shape came with one. And I’ve said for ages the 60s Daleks should come with swappable arms, so the plunder, flame thrower, scoop, electric prob, radar dish , compass thing (forgot it’s name.) The electric probe Dalek would have been a great second figure with this set. (Or changeable arms.) They could just up the price to cover costs for new tooling and so on. I don’t mind paying more for new stuff. Look at the Tardis they released it sold out within a week.
