As recommended in 'Doctor Who Magazine' issue 451, this is a personal memorial video to the remarkable Mary Tamm. The unexpected news of the death of Mary on 26th July 2012 hit me for six. She was the stunningly beautiful, sassy, sophisticated, erudite first incarnation of the Time Lady Romana. Yet another part of my childhood that has detached itself into the ether. So many lost so recently, the pain never seems to leave us. I loved Mary, I loved Romana. An integral part of my youth and a loss I bear with great sorrow. RIP Mary - you live on in the hearts of fans x
