@littlesmew First in "The Three Doctors", in 3's TARDIS, 2 says: "Oh. I can see you've been doing the Tardis up a bit. Hmm. I don't like it." (Side note: 2 also offers someone a jelly baby in that story, though he had been seen eating them out of a paper bag in "The Dominators". So he started that running thing as well) Then in "The Five Doctors", visiting UNIT headquarters as the Brigadier retires: "You've had this place redecorated, haven't you? Hmm. Don't like it." The new series brought it back a lot more. This is the first proper one, but it almost happened in "School Reunion": SARAH: You've redecorated. DOCTOR: Do you like it? SARAH: Oh, I, I do. Yeah. I preferred it as it was, but er, yeah. It'll do.

@Rain In July The Tenth Doctor doesn't say the full phrase in his entire run. Closest thing was the School Reunion one. Again, let's not post spoilery comments about stuff FW34 hasn't seen yet

GwynieBoy I think he means there hasn’t been a full episode focused on them. They also showed up in The Pandorica Opens but there last full episode was The Next Doctor which aired nearly 3 years before this.

Moffat just apparently didn’t care much for the Cybermen, at least during 11’s run. The only story they had to themselves was this piece of shit.

I think most people don't like it because the wedding just comes out of nowhere and this supposedly massive organisation that had been trying to stop the doctor since series 5 just kinda... gets done with?

There's nothing wrong with having a low stakes finale or even having just a normal story to tie the themes of the series up. We've been spoilt pretty badly with some genuinely god tier stories for finales, so switching the meta up a bit every now and then is fine by me (saying that, the s11 "finale" was rubbish)

Naww, it's just poorly constructed, messy and easily Moffat's worst script until Doctor Widow and Wardrobe. It's a really crap end to an otherwise amazing season.

But, she's happily married again and her daughter is a lovely young woman now, so it all turned out alright. She's a tough cookie, Ms. Kingston is!

Season 10 was the single worst season of any TV show I've ever watched fully, willingly. Even that is because I gave DW waaaaaay too much credit, and I kept having faith they'd fix this. S5/S6 are pretty awesome tho. S7 until mid-season break isn't bad. Then until S8 you have some good episodes still every once in a while. But the last three seasons, I've seen only a single not-awful episode. Such spectacular nose dive this show did.

Series 10 was a fantastic run of 12 great episodes week on week..... don't like it? don't comment .... many don't like series 5,6,7,,9,10.... but that is MY era.... Smith and Capaldi are the best Doctor Who's i've seen! Tennant is not a favourite of mine.... Eccleston is great, Whittaker is embarrassing..... that's my stance... many agree with me, many agree with you, many disagree with us both... the universe still exists... but do not comment underneath your wrong opinions please.

I wouldn't really care too much, but I just hate seeing something so cynical, devoid of any artistic vision or creative integrity, something so shamelessly attempting to just go through the motions with least effort, as S10, getting praised. The worst case scenario is, people make more shit like that because turns out shit sells better than anything of any real quality. I can begrudgingly forgive Moffat for making that, he had personal tragedy hit him during writing that season and all that, but for heaven's sake don't encourage people to do more of that shit.

I don't even like Capaldi after season 9 I watched for a bit but didn't finish so I will continue watching until he catches up with 13th

If penultimate is used so much, you’d think FW would refer to the season finale as “the ultimate episode,” but I don’t think he’s ever said that. Also, wondering if he’s aware of the word antepenultimate? (which is the second to last episode)

Firlow that’s cuz it’s a filler episode; this was just a random story put together for the sake of the ending which needed to be done for the Finale.
