"No, but I always took you where you needed to go." That's an incredible line that seems so obvious in hindsight but it explains so much.

“She’s a woman ... and she’s the TARDIS.” ... “Did you wish really hard?”

that whole "I just wanted to say... hello." speech makes me tear up like a baby every single time I see it, god the acting is so good in that scene. it's hard to hear, but the TARDIS's last words to the doctor are "I love you" as she fades away and it's just a little extra kick in the feelings

My favorite line of this episode is this: 11: Amy, this is, well, she's my Tardis. Except she's a woman. She's a woman, and she's my Tardis. AMY: She's the Tardis? 11: And she's a woman. She's a woman and she's the Tardis. AMY: Did you wish really hard?

“I always took you where you needed to go.” 😁 My favorite line of this episode explains so much of the TARDIS’s character and plot points for the last 50+ years.

Guys the reason he hasn't been posting was because his dad had a heart attack and has been in hospital for two months. He posted on twitter that his dad will be ok but hes going to need constant treatment and his family comes before RU-vid. Let's all pray his dad makes a full recovery and he can come back or at least give us all a proper goodbye

When the doctor said he can explain to the timelords why he had to do what he did and the moment Amy said “you want to be forgiven” I don’t know why it gave me chills

Doesn't matter how many times I've watched this ep, that last scene with "sexy" always makes me cry.

My second favorite episode. Gaiman is a genius and Michael Sheen played the planet brilliantly.

The Doctor always does his best to keep his companions safe, when he feels there's more danger than usual. Doesn't always work, but he always tries his best.

This was utterly incredible.... a true piece of art..... Series 6 is so underrated in the fandom seriously! A classic episode :) emotionally important, powerful, everything youd expect from Neil Gaiman writing an episode. Beautiful.

So when Idris fades away while talking to the Doctor (she says Hello to him etc) it's hard to hear but when she's fading away she also says "I love you"

"Do you have a room?" He's in it :)

One of my all time favourite episodes. The voice of House is Michael Sheen, who is Aziraphale the angel in Good Omens (where David Tennant is the demon Crowley). That show is based on the book of the same name, written by Neil Gaiman (who also wrote this episode!) and Terry Pratchett. If you haven’t seen that show, you really should because it’s awesome!! Michael Sheen also has roles in Underworld and the Twilight saga, amongst other things. Since House is a one story villain, this isn’t a spoiler. And that sentence at the end... Ooooh, it’s gonna be soooo good when you get there!! It’s a biggie!

So tell me I'm not alone... But Amy's visions of Rory in the Tardis corridor gave everyone else nightmares for weeks, right???

One of my favorite 11th Doctor episodes. It's so happy/sad and funny/scary. Great acting by all the leads and so impressed by Suranne Jones as Idris/The TARDIS.

Gaiman pulled out the Coraline vibes on this one.

I think I watched this without seeing who wrote it, and loved it, then saw who wrote it and was like "AHA! Of course!" I know you're well past it now, so I can say, I still get a little shiver when she says "the only water in the forest is the river." That means it was all written by then.

Michael Sheen was the voice of House, The makeshift TARDIS console Idris and The Doctor used was designed by a schoolgirl who won a competition on the kids TV show Blue Peter.

One of my very favourite Dr Who episodes. Yes, I cry when Idris-TARDIS says "Hello Doctor", a bit like Sarah-Jane.

I just looked it up for you. The voice actor for House is someone called Michael Sheen. No relation to Martin and Charlie Sheen.

Dr who headcanon basically confirmed, the console doesnt actually DO anything. The tardis just goes wherever and the console is just a fidget cube so the doctor has something to do, like a kid in the back seat of the car with a toy steering wheel. The TARDIS is a sentient ship. What's the point of a sentient ship? Autopilot. You dont need a steering wheel when you have the perfect autopilot.

Is no one going to talk about the tardis saying she has over 30 saved control rooms (she saves all the changes) and the doctor says 30? He’s only changed about a dozen times (as he’s the 11th doctor)
