I've seen good deals on 08 with 120k miles.. Im just wondering why the specific v8 is slow. I've had a camry with a v6 that was faster... Is this thing like 5 tons?
I can’t wait to get my RT this year, God keeps putting 2006 -2008 type of models on my page, which are pretty much the most affordable v8 in my opinion. I feel it in my heart. He will bless me with an RT this year🙏🏻 stay safe tho brother.
Same here. Once my hand-me-down 3.5l charger becomes not worth it to fix I'm buying an rt. They're not even that expensive. Constantly looking though so I won't miss any good deals.
Thank you brother for your help. I drive a 07 Charger RT and been contemplating on what to modify my car with and now I know all thanks to you. Keep living your Mopar life my friend.
HEMIs are awesome engines. My 2006 Charger R/T has 86,000 miles and gets 26 MPG highway. My 2003 RAM QUADCAB HEMI pickup has 231,000 miles, cannot brag on gas mileage, but is a great truck...
I got a 2010 Charger R/T about a year ago. I knew it was gonna be fast. ...but I didn't quite realize exactly how fast it really was. If you floor it at 100km/h it accelerates like you're only going 50. I have too much sense of self-preservation to even attempt the top speed of this thing.
@@rice2679 damnn makes sense tho, i live in toba and bought a beautiful 06 300c 5.7 heritage edition with a mag 1 tran, cherry bombs, and high end body parts including coilovers. Only for like 11k
Anyone else scrolling through the comments looking at all the people who think they're smart because they went onto Google for the KPH to MPH conversion table and then came back and wrote something along the lines of "wow, 170.25 mph! Impressive!"
I have a 2006 charger rt with the 5.7 , and nag one 5 speed auto stick , Iv had it running at 225KPH at 3400 rpm in 5th bone stock and had to slow down , if there are ANY mods to this car is love to know I have dual magnaflows ready to put on and a Diablo preditor tuner can't wait to adjust the rpm limiters ! Nice video thought absolutely love my car these things are amazing
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old V8 Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree
170mph is very impressive for a 2007 R/T with 2 simple mods. My 2016 charger R/T I've heard with stock tires everything from factory can hit 145mph. Other say it can go 155.
@@lowlifespore8993 No M&N is right. You can have a regular RT or you could have an RT Road and Track package, this generation had 10 more horsepower, red "R/T" badges, seat stitching, larger intake, and less restrictive exhaust. basically a Daytona without the goofy paint job.
Ur telling me a rt can do this...holy dam..i have a 2.7l as my first car its OK fast but i really want to feel the real speed but maybe one day i upgrade but im grateful of what i have even tho its a v6 but it good looking but i will want to have a hemi and roll with the big boys
WOW he was rolling and climb to 160 fast.... ...and i got a 2010 charger was a NC sheriff car highyway miles and had no inmates in back lol and no cage was sheriff's officer issuing citations to people's homes...car is bran new insde any things i should look oit for at 132,121 miles so far drives like new and well taken care of
I remember hearing dodge and Chrysler transmissions are junk and have been for the last 15 years or so, is that true? I'm really looking into getting a crown vic but one of these seems like a great alternative
I know for a fact if you had an 8spd on that thing it would have definitely hit 180 or even higher! Looks like you got a tune for the transmission 5 spd for sure and no governor
Get thespeed limiter removed either by switchs or pay a tuner to take it out. I had a 1998 vw gtivr6 with some mods to the engine breathing i hit 280km/hr you do tne math, but that was fooling around with this hot shot civic with a turbo. But i skunked him easy.
Man I might swap a 5.7L into my 2.7L v6 2006 dodge charger I have with rod knock change out the gauge cluster for the 5.7L newer model and the ECU and all that eventually but I work fast food and a 5.7L goes for $4k but found a dude on Facebook marketplace who will LS swap my car for $4k so idk might put a 5.3L from a Silverado in it lol and cam it either that or a LS3 motor
max performance i just bought a daytona how do i switch under the speedo to that digital? alll i have is trip. mine is a 2008 so i figured it would have the technogoly
