Great review, gentlemen--I have put 350 miles on my Vapor Fly 3's and absolutely love them. I am ordering a pair of these and am glad to hear it handles similarly.
Overpriced considering their status among road shoes (then again, their Francois D'Haene garbage shoe is also overpriced!). Why pay more for a second fiddle shoe, particularly one that's not as good for a marathon. Very good looking shoe too.
Regarding your words regarding the S/LAB Phantasm CF : Robbe : No i didnt test that shoe. Also Robbe: It wasn`t super bouncy like you want from a race day shoe. I understand that not every shoe is for everyone, but i actually pick the CF over the new S/LAB Phantasm2 in some races, it is way more stable, it is a phenomenal shoe for climbing and descending, and it is most definitely not flat, it has a supersmooth rocker and a punchy midsole and Composite Fiber plate combination (no it is not carbon fiber plate in the CF )
I don’t know if anyone has ever mentioned this, but as I’m sitting here watching the Andy Griffith show it just now dawned on me that you guys are the exact likeness of Ange & Barn. You ought to seriously consider a Halloween shoe review special dressed up as those two.
would you say that the phantasm 2 is the training companion to the S/lab phantasm 2? The phantasm 2 also has that plate. In some ways similar with the saucony endorphin speed 2.
