What did you think of the FNAF Movie 🤔

I got up at like 7am to edit this all morning and am now realizing I forgot to make the sound Stereo, so enjoy the immersive experience, if it’s too unbearable for you the audio is fixed on iTunes and Spotify!

That creepy aspect is something they had a lot of potential with and it was really disappointing that they missed the mark. I just hope there able to fix it in the sequel

The movie we saw was not the movie the trailers advertised, and I think that’s what a lot of people are bummed out about. I’m a massive fan and I had a good time. But there are a lot of improvements that can be made for the sequel. It’s concerning seeing blumhouse really keeping at the whole “we made it for just the fans” stuff because that means they may not feel the need to improve on the next one. They know a lot of fans are content with what we got so no need to put the extra effort in. Hope I’m wrong.

I liked the movie, it’s dumb fun, to me it’s more like the kind of movie to show my kids to get into horror movies, not fnaf, so they can watch something tame to then go into actual scary horror movies, like a “gateway drug” of horror movies, not scary but understanding the genre, and for the sequel I would say that I think that it would be a prequel where we follow Vanessa as a kid watching what happened with his dad William afton seeing why he’s doing it, as well as actually seeing the bite of 87

I see the issues with it but I can’t help but really like how it turned out! I do think the sequel should definitely have more horror but unfortunately the fanbase is split between parents/kids who like the goofy moments and the people who grew up with the series who like the horror so the comedy is gonna have to stay. I dont see the characters returning as a bad thing. Vanessa is still in a coma, Garret probably is going to be the puppet or something, Mike’s life still sucks, and Mike’s dad is still alive and could be Henry? Also something I don’t think I have heard anyone say is how they split Mike from the game in half. Movie mike has to deal with guilt from his brother like in fnaf 4 while Vanessa is the daughter of William and will probably have a fnaf 3 arc of wanting to burn him. So they both got good motivations for later movies. Def needs improvement but im honestly impressed how it is still so enjoyable!

18:48 That's the plot in the Tales book 'Submechaniphobia'; the active mystery solving plus creepy shenanigans and a satisfying conclusion is why it's my favorite out of all of them. Yeah, it would've been better to draw out what happened with the kids and who Afton is instead of having it told to us and rush through it.

I legitimately enjoyed the FNAF film. Im not a huge horror guy bc I get scared easily and pass out at the sight of blood. Ive been following the lore since 2014, so to see it finally come to the big screen after so many years was like watching something grow up along with me. I didn't mind Vanessa, plus in my interpretation she wasn't an accomplice. She heavily implied for Mike to get out of Dodge (and probably did for the previous guards) and her almost instant protectiveness over Abby was very heartwarming. I liked the cupcake being the deadliest bc the cupcake for me was the creepiest. The other animmatronic designs are based on animals who IRL are living creatures, whereas a cupcake is not, making the cupcake animatronic feel that much more creepy, almost in an Uncanny Valley sense. I found Abby dancing to various old rock songs with the animatronics charming and it made the animatronics feel more 3D, i.e. that they were actually at one point children's entertainers (my own experience going to Chuck E Cheese comes to mind) and not just murderbots. MatPat being the film was fun for me; it felt right given how he helped in the rise of FNAF and whose theories probably inspired some of what would become lore in the later games.

The part that took me out of the movie for a moment was the Celebrate FNAF 1 poster in the security office. It looked really out of place.

It's sad knowing there was an even more intense rated R version that we never got. Don't get me wrong, that script had flaws they fixed in the released version, but it also had many things we are desperately missing horror-wise. From what I remember, we saw the animatronics less in the beginning and it was a slow burn with more attempts to build atmostphere and tension until they start killing the intruders. Still had the fort building scene though! 😂 And unfortunately even less William SOMEHOW.

Since the original game showed no gore, only jump scares it was true to the game but the story was thin. I was pissed to learn that Markiplier was passed on as the 1st security guard.

This movie honestly sucked, not because what it did (well kinda), but what it didn’t do. There’s a lot of cool stuff they could’ve done with the story/structure of the movie and it picks the most painfully generic route and somehow fails miserably at that

it was definitely one of the movies of all time, as a fnaf fan this movie was so much fan and enjoyable , but as a movie it is not good at all there’s a lot of cool things they could have done but it’s so underwhelming

I mean people have to keep in mind they are just kids after all I think the fort scene was more so just to show they are just innocent people being manipulated Overall I think the movie was good it’s all I wanted for a FNaF movie definitely not perfect but most definitely for fans. can’t wait for the sequel

Avatar is the ultimate 5 minute franchise. Its all marketing, everyone rushes to the theather to see the "newest groundbreaking Masterpiece" by james cameron and then nobody ever talks about it for the next 10 years. Like Avatar fkn sucks ass, its just a expensive carnival ride.

FNAF is definitely less Horror now, sure it's still a Horror game series and therefore the Movie is a Horror movie, but you have to remember it's PG-13, it's appropriate enough for 13 year old that like FNAF, so they can't make it overly G0r¥, though I would have appreciated more G0r£, I liked the Banana Splits Movie and Willys Wonderland, the Banana Splits Movie was the G0r!£$t one, and the least Animatronic-ish, one, due to the fact that those Characters faces where just felt, no Robotic eyes or mouths like Willys Wonderland and the FNAF Movie, but they where all fun~^^

The movie feels like it lacks self confidence. It doesn’t think people will like it if they do something that COULD be great. I think we need to raise the films self esteem for the sequel.

Full of plot holes, motives turn on a dime, fun to rag on but it wasn't good. MatPat unironically the best part.
