It’s wild how fans hated Pacific Rim Uprising so much they gaslight people into thinking it’s fanmade😂 Edit: Wild how they still trying to gaslight me💀
@@gamemaster-gr2kh I know it's a fan-made film, fan-made shit gets better every year, especially that horror film about Wooney The Poo, I think that's how you spell the name
@@gerard2187 it isn’t though, ask any real pacific rim fan and they’ll say there wasn’t a second one. In fact I can’t wait for them to make a second one
The fact that the first film's story kinda sucked made _this_ movie's plot look even worse. Especially the animation. Hypothetically speaking, of course. There's no Pacific Rim 2.
@@shealupkes It's barebones. I can't really explain it properly right now other than "Most of everything except the fights are kinda boring and underdeveloped."
@@danielawesome36 I found it's barebones nature to its benefit as the actors had exactly the amount of screentime they needed to get us to big robot fights big monster, most films of that nature send more time with he actors than they need to(take the recent gxk film for example, ironically the comedic relief characters were the only ones with a comfortable amount of screentime) I felt it managed its time better than most of its kin
@@MaxGMRcoolYT It is, we never got an sequel ourselves so we... "...for the sake of the greater good. To fight monsters... ...we created monsters of our own."
To be honest, Uprising weren't the greatest, but it weren't terrible either, of course the first one is still better, but Uprising is still watchable!!
As soon as the villain has the same abilities/weapons as the main character it just becomes a normal fight with a gimmick. At least giant monsters aren’t the same as giant robots.
This one of the better fight if there is was ever a sequel to pacific rim, they feel fast but grounded, hopefully the rest of the sequel if it exist follows the same mechanics instead being a power ranger movie
For a team of teens who liked the og pacific rim this is an alright fan movie. Just wished that we had gotten that sequel that never got out of production
I’m surprised more people don’t think this movie is at least decent since it has great fight scenes which is literally the main reason people loves these movies
No offense to the creators, but I feel like this fan film just doesn't capture del toro's original vision. It really just proves how much we need a real sequel to the original movie.
Not bad for a fan made project but the lighting is a bit weird and I just don’t feel the weight behind the jeagers, now pacific rim knew what they were doing, you could feel the worthy behind them.
I find it so interesting how they removed all weight and pact from the Jaegers! It probably made this fan film way easier to shoot so I don’t mind that much. Imagine if this was a blockbuster though! That would be SO bad hahahahahahahHAHAHAHAHAHA
As you can clearly see the blue ones sword looks to be sectioned spreading then locking together the black ones albeit is badass makes no sense on how the swords get deployed
Irony aside i do think the fast and agile jaegers would work in a third movie because in the first they were already developing faster jeagers the just needed to be a link between the first and now.
I really don't understand why people hate this movie so much, if you watch pacific rim you arent here for the people or the story, you are here for giant robots killing giant aliens and thats why i loved Uprising, a good movie to eat snacks and laugh at the fights
I don’t think I've ever seen a fandom so vehemently despise a piece of media of a franchise as those of Pacific Rim. Except for maybe Star Wars, can't say i disagree with either though...
