ladies, i was in my first relationship for a year and a half and didn't even realize how extremely toxic it was until after it was over. 2 years later, after taking some time to heal and discover myself, I'm now in the most loving, healthy relationship with one of my best friends. Same. I crave for a real authentic relationship. And I really want to meet a guy in real life first and not on social media. However, It's really hard. Harsh truth is, people barely approach you in real life. Atleast that's how it is for me.
Majority of men on dating apps are NOT high value men, sure one out of the millions may be one and may even meet you, but why do that when you have real chances with actual high value men in real life. Men on those apps are degrading women because its how its programmed, based first on looks than false facade of personality. I met a wonderful person on there but I was too young and so was he to have a good relationship, but I dated for years on those things, only brought me trauma and pain. Stay away, meet people the way youre supposed to.
I always like your channel with the inspiring videos to motivate and teach. I have discovered recently that our heart knows all, he knows what is best for us and what to avoid. Also he knows what is the exact life partner that suits us. All we need to do is just to trust him and to tell him your decisions. For example if I want to marry the right person I should not search everywhere for a person who suits me, but instead to tell my heart that I have decided to marry, and to ask my heart to choose the right one for me. I have been single for over five years. Guys don't approach me in real life. After my first and only relationship ended, I swore off meeting guys online in general. It was really hard to move on. But I believe I finally healed from the pain and the past don't hurt me anymore. Its just sad that all the people around me are in a relationship or somehow busy flirting and all. And my friends and closed ones have alot of dudes approach them but I have none. It kinds of make me feel lonely and causes my insecurities to slowly creep back on me. There are days when I'm so depressed that I barely get out of my bed because I feel so ugly and that God hates me and that I am doomed to be alone. That I'm too ugly or whatnot. It's really shitty to feel like that. I hate this. :(

I kind of understand why am I feeling this way. Holding onto jealousy did alot of harm to me more than it should. Like causing my insecurities to control me and making me feel nothing but miserable. I should learn to be happy for my closed ones and not feel inferior just because of the number of men approaching someone. I cannot let my worth be defined by how attractive I am to the male population. I need to learn I'm worth so much more than that. And that I'm totally complete and happy on my own. “men like the chase” isn’t as much biological as it is a personality trait found in both genders. As a society we have just accepted it to be more of a mans agenda because we view women as being hyper emotional and easier to attachment which is not the case. It is just another stereotype we have come to believe because it is so ingrained in social culture.
Isabel, I just want to tell you that I love you! I relied on your videos a lot to love myself and I love your answers for all of your questions! I was in a 6 years relationship before he ended off 2 years ago because he fell in love with someone else. I remember chasing him for few months until I give up and focus on myself instead. Now that I think back, it wasn’t my best relationship as we weren’t communicating and there were lots of fights going on. Now that I’m focusing on myself rather than someone else, I’m getting happier and happier each day!

He was honest about it, but if I stuck to my high standards didn’t I do the right thing by letting him go?
