Does anyone else find themselves smiling all the way through these songs without realizing it. It’s uncanny that three voices together can sound so good.
It's wonderful to hear Linda in full voice, hers is such a powerful instrument. All three of these women have marvelous gifts, and it's really fantastic to hear them all here at the peak of their power. This is a trio for the ages.
When Linda and Dolly poke each other with their elbows, I was smiling from ear to ear. The vocals and harmonies are heavenly. Anyone who wants to sing should listen to these three and truly learn what singing voices should sound like. Also leave the Diva titles at the door and just sing, and support each other the way these three did. Simply beautiful.
No scream singing here, complete control over their voices and they listen to each other to make sure they don't over power one another but to harmonize together.
Three absolute legends with zero ego in the way. Does anyone else feel a certain sadness knowing that very few of the past three generations will hear and appreciate such beautiful music?
Three big beautiful voices that blend so seamlessly. Sometimes it's hard to believe that there are only three of them, the sound is so magnificent. God bless and keep and heal you, Linda Ronstadt! Everyone who believes in miracles, pray for Linda!
Use to sing 🎶with Linda's albums with Patty,Marlee and me. Course you all wouldn't know who any of us are. But we were good friends and sounded good together. It was the best of times.
Wow! Linda can really belt it out! She seems to have to restrain her lungs when singing with Dolly and Emmy... Dolly so funny and Emmy Lou, her voice so distinctive with that slight sweet tremble
Yes adorable ladies i love them too i always play their songs they have amazing songs and adorable voice God bless you all i love you all since i was young until now im 55 i love your songs.
There's a part in "Hobo's Meditation" that apparently Dolly made a mistake and giggled about it. Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris sensing the same, continued on trying to control their own giggles. I frankly didn't notice it. But you can see how much they enjoyed singing together, sans any ego.
Even better than the version recorded by the great Jimmie Rodgers. I am quite sure he would agree. Just think, he recorded this a hundred years ago and these three ladies certainly do it justice. Linda Ronstadt has perfect pitch and its well displayed here.
Dolly is right when she says she’s made a career out of messing up. It’s quite a number of live TV performances (duets or trios) where she slips up and apologizes to her fellow performers mid-song! But somehow it just makes the performance more memorable
How fun to see. I was so lucky to see all of them in person, though never together. Dolly at the Ohio State Fair, EmmyLou at the Agora across from Ohio State, and Linda at Vet's Memorial in Columbus. Linda has always been my favorite singer. Miss her voice. Love them all
