I had stubbornly refused to watch your padmasana tutorial because I was sure the problem was my knees and not how I was sitting. I figured it was a matter of getting used to the discomfort. I just stopped the video and gave it a quick try using your instructions and I already feel a big difference. Thank you so much!🎉🥰

Sit down and let out ur legs, bend right leg and put on top of left thigh , now hold your right ankle and rotate with help of ur hands, this will improve your flexibility, also do ankle circulation regularly

My hip has frozen after I suffered from Spondilitis for a year. Now it's more than 26 years I cannot do many yoga aasanas that have joint/knee/hip movements, effectively.

Holy wow. Thought I would never be able to do think, as I get knee pain...well well well...technique is the ticket. ZERO KNEE PAIN 🤯 Now how to stop my ankles hurting I this pose...haha...the angle bone also pokes my thigh, that hurts!

Stop calling it padmasanAAAA. It's Padmasana. The 'a' at the end is pronounced as अ. As in the अ/a sound in 'butter', not the आ/ā in 'bath'. Similarly, it's yoga (योग), not yogAAA (योगा). Stop anglicizing Sanskrit/Indian words.

Unfortunately your left leg is not on the ground This is not proper padmasana you won’t be able to stay in Padmadaba long Check Andrey Verba yoga teacher 30 years of practice padmasana

Sir I tried up twisting my leg and stubbornly sitting on the lotus pose for hours , now I have developed and permanent pain and when ever I stand up or on try to sit in sukhasana, my joins sounds like a cracking bone each time, it seems due to putting hard pressure my joints have moved little upside and every time i sit or stands it audjestment, please guide me

thanks, now i know what was wrong with my attempts, i was thinking my right knee is faulty because of something in the past. turns out it's my right hip joint that isn't flexible and have to work more with it.
