This is so on time. I'm always thinking about FIXING this guy I have a huge crush on. I wanna make him look good and be successful and I'm so downright willing to help them achieve all these things. Then I always thought back as to why I'm not trying to do these for myself. Then I'm grounded back to reality that it's really myself I should be doing these for.

Exactly!! Sometimes it's scarier to put that effort towards ourselves, especially if we've been conditioned to believe we aren't worthy of it. So we try to do it via proxy of our romantic partners.

@@kat.eleftheriou Very true. Or maybe in some sense we are also waiting for someone to do it for us, that Saviour in the White Horse. Never knowing it's only us who can and need to do that for ourselves. Once again, thank you Kat for these videos that help us reflect on our personal shortcomings. Thank you for this, it really points the finger on the problem I have never realised with my romantic relationships that keep failling, I tend to stick to people that don't align me, with the "hope" (projection) we would naturally align to each other with time but... Spoiler : it always turns out badly haha

I can understand this! The best question to ask yourself is: "why don't you think you can have someone who is already aligned with you?"
